Six of us stayed in the red barn and had a great time. The space was beautiful, clean, comfortable and perfect for a small gathering of family and/or friends. Jacques was very communicative and responded to all our questions quickly. Because the space is quite unique there are some quirks (like open ceiling bathrooms in both main rooms), but we did not find these bothersome. We enjoyed the fire pit and the convenience to Eureka and Rexford. Thanks for a great stay, Jacques!

Great last minute cancellation here at Bear 10 lead us to rent out the red barn for my family of 7 for a few days. There are 28 steps leading up to a beautiful Montana hideaway; a platform with two doors leads left to the bunk room, high ceilings, bathroom, kitchenette (small refrigerator), and my favorite... outdoor balcony that overlooks the horses and gentle rolling hills of their beautiful ranch. The beds were ok, I should have brought my pillow from home. Bring your own beach towels and soaps for the shower. The kitchenette is great and we used it for breakfasts. It takes a little longer to pan fry potatoes but the views are worth the extra time cooking. My two year old fell in love with this place. My grandparents stayed in the master room to the right from the main platform. There is a coffee maker + toaster, and small refrigerator. They enjoyed their stay very well. We didn't get to chat with Patricia or Jacques very much because we were busy with family reunion and huckleberry picking. But they seemed like a pair, very upbeat and full of adventures. We didn't have time to stop by the lodge, ran short on time. This was our third stop on our family road trip vacation and we are very happy we were able to rest our heads, fill our bellies, and take in the views. Magical place.

thank you for the description Amber , next time take more time to talk and not chit chat on your mobile , it will be more fun , here in Montana we take time , for the good time anyway it was a pleasure to have you here . for the beach towel and the soap , I will take care of it . Thank you to let me discover that we have 28 steps to go up after 15 years . for the pillows you should ask me for some more i have a reserve in my home , not a lodge . How come we can talk , not chat , and communicate which is here a pleasure . you where always on the run . I was open to discuss about horses but I am still waiting , yes short of time I agree with you. But Patricia and I are happy that the end the magic of our place , and Montana operate , and you and your family had the pleasure to enjoy it I hope that we will have the pleasure to see you again and have time to discuss horses and talk about my black and white painted horse best regards Jacques Berten

We stayed at this lovely cabin in the woods while on our cross country move from Oregon to North Carolina (with a cat!). We were greeted by Jacques and he showed us the ropes of this amazing wooded wonderland. The cabin was cozy and remote. After a day at Glacier N.P. (about 1.5 hr drive),we spent the evening having drinks by the fire pit.

Jacques was there to meet us at the highway and drive us the short distance to the lodging to make sure we got to the correct place. He showed us the accommodations and gave us good advice on where we could find some good food in Eureka. The lodging is the loft of a barn that has been renovated. The renovations are in a western theme and the loft was fun to stay in. There was a balcony walkout from the bedroom that was very enjoyable as we sat on it in the evening while watching for nature. This is definitely a quiet, peaceful setting for anyone wanting to get off the beaten path and wants some peace and quiet. It was a very fun place to stay, Jacques is extremely nice, and we plan to stay there again when we are in the Eureka area.

Patricia greeted us upon our arrival. She was very pleasant, taking us directly to our accommodation which exceeded our expectations. It was a grand space with sleeping and reading areas, large bathroom, a coffee maker, and very large windows with a terrific view of the acreage. She also showed us a second charming accommodation. In the morning, we met Jacques, leading to an incredible Bear 10 Ranch experience, moving nine horses from pasture to pasture, touring other accommodations on the property, and his delightful log home built without nails. He was easy going and open to sharing on multiple topics as well as indicating to us what was the best travel option for our continued journey through northwest Montana.
