If you are someone who prefers privacy, you don't ever have to worry about us coming into the apartment unannounced. The flat is yours to enjoy during your stay; any variation of this will be communicated in advance and upon your approval.

I highly recommend bringing your house slippers or a thick pair of cozy wool socks, mainly during the late fall and winter. We have a no shoe policy inside so it's nice to have something cozy to wear if you chill easily.
Small town, country livin' is refreshing. What ends up on the bottom of your feet, not always. We remove our shoes at the door and enjoy a sanctuary at home. There is a foot mat directly inside the apartment, please use it.
Meat, when sourced locally and harvested by humane and sustainable practices, is mouth watering. We enjoy it from time to time, but we don't prepare meat in our kitchen. We prefer you don't either.
Absolutely no smoking in the apartment.
No illegal activities, including drugs.
Under no circumstances are guests allowed in the apartment.
Please read the house manual for a more comprehensive outline of resources and ways to be respectful while enjoying my apt.
