SUMMER 2017 UPDATE: After a short season offline for upgrades, this country-in-the-city home is finally re-opened for summer bookings! Just in time as the festival season kicks off in St. John's and rooms around town have filled up quickly.
Relaxation and respect. Your privacy will be completely respected throughout your stay and we ask in return that you leave the house, furnishings and amenities in good shape. You will need to collect the garbage and recycling at the end of your stay into bags (provided) and strip the linens. Please leave the rooms tidy and your dishes washed. If anything is broken during the course of your stay please let us know. It happens! Just please give us a heads up. Do not leave litter/bottles in the yard or on the decks. All recyclables should be rinsed.
No Smoking. No Pets. Families very welcome!
Two weeks cancellation notice is appreciated.
We live in St. John's with our daughter, a fluffy white husky and a cross-eyed cat.
Emily moved to St John's 5 years ago from The States and fell in love with this town and this island. It is the smallest city in which she has lived and yet it is bursting with things to do. She is a freelance writer with a monthly food and booze column in the local Arts and Culture paper (The Overcast). She enjoys hiking the East Coast Trail and swimming in ponds. She loves books, fashion, movies (especially Westerns), and a good sleep.
Ken is a postman and a photographer. He has photographed many bands in town. He grew up in St. John's and would live nowhere else...except maybe Dublin. He walks his dog in all weather and loves watching documentaries, dancing to live music, and enjoying pints downtown.
We are happy to share our recommendations for where to eat and what to see while visiting Newfoundland.
