Miss Willie's place if a dream come true if you're traveling as a family. The ranch offers cuddly kittens, a petting zoo, all in relaxed laid back surroundings. Trail rides can be booked for an additional fee. The tipis are large and comfortable and the shared bathroom and shower (cold) is clean. If you're headed this way, it's a great place to bunk down before/after the ferry crossing from the Bruce Peninsula.

We were absolutely blown away by our stay at Kicking Mule Ranch. Sleeping in a teepee was too much fun and all of the animals were absolutely great!

We had an absolutely fabulous time at the ranch and Willie was a wonderful and gracious host. This is the absolutely perfect place for a somewhat, yet not too rustic experience. It also is a great place for anyone loving animals. We would return in a heartbeat and definitely recommend the Kicking Mule Ranch to anyone looking to have a fabulous time on Manitoulin Island!

Having the opportunity to stay on this working ranch was really cool, and I only wish that we had had more time. Although we only got the chance to meet her briefly in the morning, Willie was very gracious and inviting. The teepee was rustic and spacious, and it was overall a really great find. There are a couple more places to stay on site, so this would be a great place to bring more people and spend a couple of nights while exploring the area, horseback riding, etc. during the day. Would definitely recommend!

Hi there! Rick and I have a ranch located on beautiful Manitoulin Island. Where we offer 1, 2, and 4 hour horseback riding in the summer from June Ist until October. Great for outdoor lovers!

We have beautiful bush trails for riding. We also have a petting area. We love Animals! We have kittens, rabbits, chickens, sheep, lambs, and ponies for pony rides. Our ranch is pet friendly. Leashed dogs welcomed!

We are only 15 minutes from the Ferry docks in Southbay.
We are 30 minutes from the Cup & Saucer trail. A great hike!
Bridal Veil falls is only 40 minutes away. A must see.

Please be advised when booking, that bedding is at extra cost ($5/bed)
