Long story short - we spent a great time at Zoran's place. If you are looking for apartement in Croatia for fair price, close to the beach with lots of potential trips, you just found one! Zoran - the owner was very kind and helpful. He lives nearby so if you need anything jusk ask him. You can get the idea, how does the house look like, from Zoran's pictures. Three bedrooms total (one of them is twin bedroom, the rest is double). Someone may complain about the hardness of the beds, but for me it was ok. The kitchen is well equipped - electric + gas cooker, oven, all kinds of kitchenware and obviously a fridge with freezer. The kitchen is combined with dinning/living room and it's the only room in the house with the AC. Dining table, wirelless router, LCD TV and fold-out couch (try sleeping on it if you don't like the beds) are also placed in the "kitchen". Bathroom contains bathtub and a washing machine (with washing powder). Outside the house there are two tables and set of plastic chairs. We also placed a drying rack from the bathroom outside, so we can easily dry our towels etc. Behind the house there's big BBQ, so don't forget to bring your charcoal! The beach is really close, you just have to cross the street and walk down some stairs. Dalmatian beaches are mostly rocky and this one is no exception, but the water was crystall clear with minimum of urchins. For most of the time, we were almost the only ones one the beach, which is also huge plus. You can easily swim to a small island located nearby. If you want some adventure, you can try to reach a bigger island you can see directly from the beach, but I highly recommend you to use a boat or at least inflatable lounger and to bring your shoes with you! Unfortunately there is no market in Bilo, so we did our shopping in Primošten - town circa 5 km away, which is doable by foot and peace of cake by car. Every morning there's a baker coming right to the apartement with bread and some sweets. The location in Bilo also offers great opportunities for trips. If you head north you can visit the city of Šibenik (20km) - Cathedral of St. James (UNESCO) or St. Nicholas fortress. Few kilometers northeast of Šibenik you can visit Krka National Park - Skradinski Buk (waterfall cascade formed by Krka river with big natural pool you can swim in). If you head south, Primošten is naturally your first choice. The city of Split is circa 60 km away - you can visit the historic centre there and some beaches. But my personal number one is the city of Trogir, located roughly halfway to Split. Historic town and harbor located on small island included in the UNESCO. You can rent a boat in the harbor, but if you want to drive...

I stayed with my girlfriend in the apartment for 8 nights. So we had plenty of room. Zoran even dropped the price a bit as we were only 2 guests. As guest you have whole house at your disposal for less than most want to charge for studio apartment. There are 3 rooms. One with double bed and the others with two single beds. There is also a couch in the kitchen which can be transformed to bed. Kitchen and dining room are combined. In this room it's also the air conditioning and LCD TV. Kitchen is well equipped. It has stove with 2 gas burners, 2 electric and gas oven. Refrigerator is also quite big (or at least bigger than most hosts put in their apartments). We stayed in the room with double bed and left the other closed so the air-conditioning also managed to cool down the room. If all three would be occupied I'm not sure it would cool down all the rooms enough. Apartment has WI-FI router in the dining room. It's not the fastest but more then enough to browse the internet. In the bathroom you also have washing machine so you can clean your clothes which is great for longer stays. The windows and doors of the apartment are a bit worn out, so renovating this would be a nice improvement. Beach is around 70m from the apartment. Just down the hill. There are mostly rocky beaches and some smaller concrete beaches. Nearby there is also a small island which you can swim to. We were here in high season but it was still pretty empty (around 20 people max) which was great as we prefer isolated/quieter beaches. But downside of this is no bars/restaurants nearby. In the night there were a lot of mosquitoes so we preferred to say inside. They also appear on the beach after 8pm. So have your repellents ready. Outside there is plenty of room and you can park your car in shade. There are also 2 tables outside which you can use to eat outside. There is also a huge BBQ behind the house which we happily used. Zoran stayed most of the time in hut nearby which you can see in the pictures. So he was at our disposal for any questions. For shopping we went to Šibenik which is more than 15km away which is not ideal but we only needed to go twice so not that big of a problem. Bread is delivered by a van every morning and parks before the house so you can easily buy fresh bread every day.
