•Shared bathroom and kitchen
•20 mins walk to city center(meydan)
•An area surrounded by full of amazing food and culture.

WHY IT'S AWESOME ?:

My apartment is situated within walking distance (about 15 minutes on foot) of the city center. My flat has a natural view overlooking the gully. It is quite tranquil for a flat in a city center. You can even see the sea from the window of your room. My flat is a wooden made flat. Although Trabzon is a humid city I can say that my flat does not have much humid. You can wake up to a fresh air in the mornings.

Arriving into Trabzon, I had a few reservations being that it was my first time in Turkey. Would I be able to use the dolmuş, find Furkan's apartment and enough things to occupy my time. Furkan put all my doubts to rest. He is a great guy, and I immediately felt like I've known him for a long time. Furkans apartment is located near a large mosque and several grocery stores. The room is large and quite tranquil and comfortable. 15 minutes away is Meydan square, the center of Trabzon. Where several buses can be taken to Uzungöl, Çaykara and Georgia. I was lucky enough to visit during Ramadan and got to enjoy some great meals with Furkan, he is a good cook. He also treated me to a trip to his village, where they grow tea. It was a pleasure meeting his family and seeing how they live. Stay with Furkan if you want a host that really cares about your experience in Turkey and will show you a great time, conversation and food. Teşekkürler!

Furkan is kind, welcoming and really hospitable. I struggled to pay for things when with him. He can show you the best of Trabzon, both in the city and around the province where his family runs a tea plantation

I felt very welcome in Furkan's house. On his off-days and days not working until late at night he made us both breakfast and/or dinner, and we went together to see some local sights. I ended up staying in Trabzon with Furkan as a new friend for longer than I had planned. He was able to help out with everything Trabzon-related, from finding a gym to getting to Uzungöl. Btw. it's rare to find a local with such fluency in English, but it makes sense, since Furkan teaches it. Thanks!

Hello My dear guest;
it is me Furkan 25 years old, newly graduated from English Language Teaching. I have been living alone in my apartment for two and half year. I am currently working in a language institution as an ESL teacher. I work from from 9 30 to 1 :00 pm on and from 6 pm to 9 pm on. weekdays but I have some off time during day which is I only work 8 hours and I have 4 hours off during weekdays .sometimes I can come home to have my lunch. At the weekends I work from 9 30 to 5 30 pm.
Hosting people is in one of my hobbies. I like cooking, I like swimming ı like reading, I like making new friends and I like discussing ideas.
I like hosting people a lot because I think this is how we can expand our minds through getting to know different people and different cultures. Since Turkey is not a english spoken country, hosting people who speak english gives me the chance to practice my english with. This is how I keep my english up to date and this is how I think I can help my guests best in communication.
If I am asked what is the first thing you want to achieve in this world it would be probably "getting to know as much people as I can.
Thank you in advance for giving me the chance to get to know you.
