This place is a find. The best of both worlds: located steps away from the bustling Machane Yehuda market with access to downtown, but tucked away on a quiet side street in beautiful, quaint, Nachlaot. I stayed here for a month. Clean and well-maintained, it was no more or less than I needed. Rachel and Daniel are kind and attentive hosts. Daniel brought me a bottle of wine as a welcome gift and offered to clean the apartment during my stay, free of charge. Highly recommend a stay.

We loved this apartment! Rachel and Daniel were two of the nicest hosts we have encountered through Airbnb. Friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The apartment itself is modest but clean, perfect for a person or couple who want a place removed from the over-touristy center. The Nachlaot area is endlessly fascinating, especially the market, which became a favorite destination. It is an easy 15 minute walk to Ben Yehuda, and about a half an hour to the Old City. This apartment is also great for access to the Givat Ram campus of Hebrew University, for those interested in studying there or doing research. It is about a 30 minute walk to the campus. We will definitely look forward to returning here on our next trip. Many thanks to Daniel and Rachel for making us feel at home in Jerusalem.

The apartment is small but had everything I needed. Rachel and Daniel were excellent hosts and responded quickly to all my inquiries. Good neighborhood, very close to the market but the apartment has a window facing the street and it can be noisy in the evening from people talking as they pass by.

Respuesta de Rachel:
Indeed there are two little windows to the Yarmuk alley (that can be shut to keep any possible noise source away. In the street there are no driving cars, since it's really a little alley with stairs at one end. Therefore it's only for parking. As in any city, there might be people walking by now and then. The quarter is in general quiet and cozy. Around the Jewish holidays (Sukkot and Yom Kippur) there are a few days during which there may be some singing of prayers. It's become a tourist attraction to come and listen to the ritual singing in the early hours of the morning.

Nice little place with character and charm. Hosts were very lovely and helpful and always there for us if we needed anything. The immediate neighbourhood was quite most of the time with noise coming from the street sometimes which is to be expected. We seemed to be in the hip part of town - a nice health food cafe 5 mins away which was a saviour!

The apartment is exactly what the description says it to be. You have basically everything you need, but if you happen to miss anything, just tell the owner and they'll help you right away. Also, the location is very nice, central as it is, and very close to the mahane yehuda.

I had a great stay at Rachel and Daniel's home in Jerusalem! They were lovely hosts who accommodated me when I needed to change my dates twice, and they checked-in on me several times throughout my extended stay to make sure I had everything I needed. The place itself is in a great location and one of the best places to make your 'home base' from which to explore Jerusalem. It's in a small, quite and authentic neighborhood, just steps to Mahane Yehuda Market, 10 minute walk to Ben Yehuda St., and 3 minute walk to the metro on Jaffa St. The apartment has a spacious living/bed room with a really comfortable bed and the kitchenette is perfect for basic meals. The street is safe and quiet. I highly recommend this place!
