Located on the top floor of our family home, Hafod Lon Holiday Apartment has stunning views over the Menai Strait and Snowdonia.
Deceptively spacious, this is a peaceful, relaxing and comfortable self-catering Apartment with its own private entrance and parking space.
If you are like us and like a quiet, calm space then this is is the place for you.
I have a strict policy of No Smoking anywhere on the property (including outside on the driveway and up the lane). This is for personal reasons. Please adhere to this rule, otherwise you may be asked to leave.

We have 2 bedrooms which can be set up as 2 twin or 1 twin and 1 superking double bedroom. A cot, high chair and baby bath are available for infants. An additional child's bed can be provided for under 12s.
Gas Central Heating is available. The kitchen has everything you would expect a self-catering establishment should have. There is a shower room with electric shower, a washbasin and toilet. The lounge has two comfortable sofas, a coffee table, TV with Freeview and DVD player and a dining table and four chairs.
We can't offer any outside space for our Guests to use as the outside area is for our and our neighbour's private use only.
Guests are advised that they park and drive their vehicles on and over my driveway at their own risk and I will not accept any liability for any mishaps that may occurr.

I encourage Guests to give me an estimated arrival time beforehand as I like to be on hand to meet and greet you on arrival and explain where everything is in the Apartment and at checkout time. Should your ETA change for any reason, I should be grateful if you would notify me as soon as possible.
It is the Guest's responsibility to ensure they have read all the House Rules and Safety Information before they arrive. In addition, guests should make sure they read the Directions section as it contains specific guidance on how to get here.
I think the personal touch is important. I will also be available during your stay for any enquiries you may have as the Apartment is located on the top floor of our family home, above our bedrooms.
Otherwise, you will have privacy to come and go as you please.
I encourage Guests to take full advantage of the location and get out and about to see the massess of excellent sights and activities the area has to offer as well as the fab restaurants and pubs we have closeby.

The Apartment is located on the top floor of the property, up a staircase of 30 steps and therefore it is unsuitable for anyone who has problems with mobility.
This is a very peaceful and quiet location and I ask guests to respect the laid-back nature of the location. I discourage noisy groups and Guests and ask that my privacy and request for peace and quiet is respected at all times.
On arrival, please come to the LEFT side of the property where you will see a flagpole. We do not want to cause our immediate neighbours any annoyance and appreciate your co-operation.

The Apartment and surrounding areas internally and externally are strictly No Smoking.
Candles are strictly prohibited.
The Apartment is located on the top floor of our family home and therefore we politely request that excessive noise including playing music and children running in the hallway is avoided but especially during the evening and at night between 8pm and 8am as you are directly above my family bedrooms.
Children should be supervised at all times, especially on the staircase, and strongly discouraged from running in the hallway of the Apartment. The noise does carry all through the house.
We are unable to provide outside space other than a parking space.
Bicycles, prams, walking boots, wellies should be stored in the entrance porch.
Please drive slowly as there are children and animals around.
Please leave the Apartment in a clean and tidy state. All crockery, cutlery, pots and pans must be washed clean, dried and put away before checkout. All rubbish must be left in the kitchen or taken to the bins outside in my yard. Please recycle what you can.
Whilst we do not charge a separate cleaning fee, we reserve the right to make a claim through the Damages Deposit for any significant breakages /damage /heavy soiling of property within The Apartment that occurs during a Guest's stay. Airbnb procedures will be strictly adhered to.
No sanitary products to be placed down the toilet at all as this will cause a lot of damage to the plumbing. Please place them in the bin provided.
External Porch door must be locked whenever you leave the Apartment.
Extreme care to be taken when using Hair Straighteners, curling irons and hairdryers (do not place them on the carpet etc.!).
Iron and ironing board to be used in the Kitchen only.
We ask you politely not to move the bedroom furniture from where it's been placed.
Please use the heating system sensibly (i.e. don't leave it on when you are out), please also switch lights off when you are out or when you don't need them on and close windows when you go out. We try our best to be as environmentally friendly as we can and encourage our Guests to do the same.
I have discovered that I am a happier person living within view of the sea and mountains. I love music, travel, meeting new people and keeping in touch with friends I have made over the years.
I love holidaying in France, especially in our Campervan in Brittany as I feel at home there with the Breton language being similar to Welsh.
My family is my life.
I would like to think that I am a very considerate and approachable person.
I like hosting guests that have read the listing inside out and know exactly what they are booking. We then have a mutual understanding of what to expect and that any potential issues can be addressed in advance.
I am fastidiously clean and tidy (yes, one of those) - a family trait!
