Wonderful house with lovely walks right from the door and lots of excellent things to do in the vicinity. The Brecon Beacons 4 waterfalls walk (near Ystradfellte) is a short drive away and was a great outing. The house is lovely - the main room is huge and great for socialising, with comfy sofas and armchairs for sitting around the big fireplace. We also had a film night and lots of great dinners. Kitchen is well equipped and a pleasure to cook in. Bedrooms are spacious and nice. Lots of good books to sample off the shelves. The washing machine was useful for cleaning muddy clothes after walks. Patsy was very flexible, helpful and made us a fantastic cake for our arrival. A lovely place for a group holiday.

Our group of 6 adults and 1 infant had an 8 night stay. The setting is quiet and beautiful with the farm located a couple of minutes out of Trecastle and views to the surrounding Brecon Beacons available around the property. There is a lot to explore within an hours drive of the property. Recommend checking out the Roman Road, it's within a 10 min drive and you need to download an app to guide you (the app makes it, even if it is a bit quirky). If you prefer just hanging out, the property is great for that too, with short walks to the river or in to Trecastle. We cooked a few meals and the kitchen has most things you need. You will need to bring some basics, salt, pepper, butter, sauce, etc. Patricia also baked us a delicious Victoria sponge. We highly recommend a visit.

Perfect place for a group of people. The house is very remote so you will need a car and be prepared to drive. We drove out to Breacon for lunch and also to Pen Y Fan to do the hill climb. The hosts were amazing, baked us a cake on arrival and put up with our noise as we were a large group, as the hosts are in a house next door. The house was delightful and had great charm. Great big fire place for a sociable evening. The house was not immaculately clean, but we didnt expect that - nothing major just cobwebs! Would definitely return for another weekend.

Wonderful location and Patsy and Adrian are delightful people. We had a great family holiday with 8 adults, 1 three month old and 1 three and half years old. Sennybridge has a lovely pub and we went for lovely walks. Great place to stay.

This house is such a gem;4 double bedrooms & 1 twin dotted across 3 floors and a large open-planned living area, perfect for a family & friends getaway. It's full of rustic charm and has everything you need for a secluded getaway that still has easy access to good roads. The location is just breathtaking; sitting amongst the Brecon hills in a beautiful cottage garden. There are so many little secret corners to it and the views all around are incredible. We walked down to the river at the bottom of the valley every day and it was such an adventure trekking through the woods and fields. It really is a walkers dream location. Patsy was so friendly and had a delicious cake waiting for us on arrival and I'm sure she'd have helped with anything else we may have needed. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone who appreciates beautiful scenery and wants a family retreat to recharge the batteries just far enough from civilisation.

A great house for a family stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the bedrooms particularly. Everything works, is clean, and the large central space is great for large numbers of people - we had 9 staying but up to 13 squeezed in for dinner. The approach along the well maintained track has breathtaking views over the Brecons and the sheltered well-maintained gardens have several terraces with tables and chairs and a great treehouse. Patsy and Adrian could not have been more helpful and welcoming on arrival and during our stay. The location was perfect for us being just over 15 minutes to big hills and some lovely walking on footpaths straight out the door. A walk to the pub is only 20 minutes on a straightforward trail.
