Enjoy coffee from your veranda in the morning or read a book underneath one of the trees in the garden.
We have birds and some chickens walking around in the garden. Our animals ask for a gentle, kind approach. Because of our animals we regretfully decided to only accept guests with children older than 15 years. Our house is on different levels and is unfortunately not child friendly.
You will notice that we have made quite a few cancellations during January and February 2016 because parents with babies and small children requested that we have our dogs in kennels during their stay. We are animal lovers and our two dogs are sometimes left in an enclosed area at the back of our offices behind the house. Gillward our gardener takes care of them. The gates stay closed at all times. They are not aggressive but will greet with some barking and can be boisterous. We usually take the dogs with us but sometimes we need to leave town, they will then stay behind with Gillward who sleep in our offices.
Please be so kind not to use any bedding, including duvets, throws, pillows from the beds or cushions on beds and furniture outside the house. There are quilts and cushions available for outside use. You are welcome to ask Mac Millan our house manager to show you which one's.
Please don't use/move inside furniture outside. We have plenty of patio and garden furniture available for your enjoyment.
We leave special teapots and other breakables for your enjoyment during your stay but ask that they be handled gently. Please replace any damaged items.
