Two beautifully restored properties that share a large private terrace.
1 'Casa Principal'
A spacious main house with all the facilities and more.
2 'Casa Pequena.'
A self contained studio apartment.
(Not suitable for children).
Two house sit within a private walled complex and share an amazing many leveled terrace.
Sleeps 2/4 people. The property in not suitable for young children.
This comprises of:- Large dinning room equipped for six diners ,free standing fan in room. The dining room leads through to big Spanish doors to the Moroccan influenced lounge with facilities for sleeping two via sofa bed with over head fan. Through the arch way from the dining room leads you to the big kitchen with granite work surfaces and breakfast area. A separate utility room houses dish washer and washing machine. The main bed room has king sized bed and is opulent in its Provence style . Over head fan in bedroom. The bathroom has the unique ridged Andalusian tiled ceiling and grand bath with shower over. The bathroom sink is carved from Moroccan fossil stone from over a million years ago. The rear door has steps that lead to the large secluded terrace .
A self contained large stylish studio apartment (Casita) situated in a family private walled complex. The property has its own front door leading into newly refurbished accommodation that retains a Spanish flavour. Facilities include :- a charming lounge with futon sofa bed that can stay down in the day as a Moroccan day bed if desired, a kitchenette space off of main living area is fully equipped and a spacious bathroom with modern fittings and walk in shower. Wi Fi extends to both properties including the terrace.The apartment also leads onto the stunning terrace with views over the surrounding mountains, countryside and distance sea views from some of the lower terraces.
The terrace is extremely spacious and split over three levels with space for sun bathing, outside eating, shaded bar area and a separate brick BBQ. The terrace is a sun trap during the day and is lit at night for that romantic evening.

The complex is situated on the edge of the village. It is approximately a 1 minute walk from the car parking area to the front door. Please note that in the old part of Torrox there is limited car access and areas with steep inclines or steps that are typical of the Andalusian white washed walled villages.

Regular markets during the week listed in our information sheet. Throughout the year are many festivals and fiestas and religious celebrations that add a touch of Spanish life to your holiday stay.
Nerja, the nearest largest town, has a very popular flea market on Sundays.
. A pleasant evening can be spent taking a stroll around the streets of Nerja, looking out over the sea at the Balcon and then enjoying a romantic meal in one of the many restaurants. Frigiliana in the nearby mountains and Burriana beach are a must to visit.
Trips to consider and local attractions include the famous Nerja caves.The local olive oil factory and Bar El Acebuchal (The lost village).
A mere 45 mins away is Malaga. A visit to the harbour area includes retail therapy !!! a climb up to the castle gives amazing views of the bay and the Malaga bull ring. An hour in the opposite direction takes you to the Sierra Nevada mountain range and the very beautiful Granada. Here stands the Moroccan principality .'Alhambra Palace'A feat of architecture. In season you can ski in the mountains there and if you wish drive to the beach near Torrox in the afternoon. !!!

The owners have beautiful items within the Casita for guest to enjoy, so please leave as you find. Doors and windows must be shut when leaving the apartment at all times. Air-con to be off when not using the Casita. Towels must not be removed from the premises. All outside cushions provided must be returned to the storage box in the evening or when going out .Breakages or damage must be notified before departure.
Sorry no smoking or pets allowed.
The main house is not suitable for babies that are crawling and young children under 14.
The Casita may be suitable for a very young baby , but not suitable for a young baby who is at the stage of crawling and above

We are young at heart, friendly and welcoming and love our life in Spain.
We have spent 4 years lovingly refurbishing our Spanish homes. We are on the final stage of refurbishing our 3rd and final house on our complex .Life in Torrox is old Spain. Traditions from bygone days, fiestas,religious celebrations and the warmth of the Andalusian climate. The outdoor life we live, close to both mountain and sea, gives every day for us a different outlook and interest. The fresh local food and excellent wines are a delight.
