My dog, Willie, will stay at my home. He is 15 and has slight dementia. I don't want to disrupt him by temporarily relocating him. He sleeps the majority of the time. Willie is a very friendly and handsome senior and has never met a stranger -- everyone is a new friend to him. He's a red, smooth Standard Dachshund (20 pounds). His dogbed is in the kitchen, where he hangs out the majority of the time. I will take care of all of his needs -- feeding him, letting him out, etc. All you would need to do is provide him with, if you would care to, is some head rubs and sweet talk. Willie would certainly enjoy that and just eat it up.
