Join us in our wonderful European style townhouse, heart of downtown Halifax. Our house is the perfect blend of downtown living and relaxation as we are both steps from the harbour yet have a wonderful backyard to relax. Please note, we have two dogs and two cats!
*Detailed description below
Double-sized bed in a private room on the main floor of our three story house. Please let me know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions as I often have baking available for you to eat :)
Alec is a medical school student and I am a recent Master's graduate manning the house and running the Airbnb. We have two greyhounds, Curtis and Nina, and two cats.
Breakfast: Breakfast is a help-yourself-style breakfast that might include some of the following: fresh fruit, homemade muesli/granola, cereals, hot cereals, muffins, loaf cakes, toast, eggs, etc. Both hosts love to cook and during the weekends there might also be pancakes, waffles, or huevos rancheros on the offering if you're lucky! We also have lots of coffee/tea which you can help yourself to at any hour.
Parking: We live right in the middle of downtown so there is parking on the nearby streets but very strict parking rules. It is mostly either permit parking or two hour parking during the day and then parking is available during the evenings (6pm-8am) and weekends while spots last. During the day you might have to use one of the parking lots nearby but you would have to pay. The parking reinforcement officers are strict around Halifax so please be careful about following the parking rules wherever you choose to park.
Any questions just ask!

Atención a los huéspedes

You will often find the hosts in the kitchen, cooking, and playing board games.
Otros aspectos destacables
The layout of our house is not traditional. The house was built in the late 1800s so it has lots of character. The house has three floors. The main floor has a guest bedroom (where you can sleep) and a large living room. The bottom/garden-level floor has a full bathroom and wonderful kitchen. There are french doors that walk onto the backyard off the kitchen. The upper floor has the master bedroom, a second bedroom, and another full bathroom.
We don't have strict rules, but just be respectful and conscientious. We will go over our house rules when you get here but its mostly things like:
1) Lock the door before you leave
2) Put the toilet seat down as we have cats who love to take a drink :)
3) No outside guests/friends
4) No metal on pots/pans (we have lots of wooden and plastic spoons/spatulas but we don't want our non-stick stuff scratched)
