Double roof top bedroom in holiday house on beautiful empty Takaungu beach, 25 mins south of Kilifi, secluded, 1 km from village, communal kitchen, shared bathroom, stunning roof terrace, 2 caretakers to look after you, sandy beach, great swimming. Calm, relaxed, peaceful. A 'Lonely Planet must visit recommendation.'
Takashak is a rustic 3 bedroom beach house right on the beach. You can either rent the whole house or individual rooms and maybe share with others. See our other listings for details.
Family owned for 35 years, the house has been sympathetically improved over the years, whilst maintaining a simple beach house character. Light is provided by hurricane and solar lamps. A generator is available for charging phones and laptops.
You will be looked after by William and Nickson two local Giriama caretakers.
Takashak is very chilled. Get ready to slow down, read, switch your phone off, swim, snorkle, sun-bathe, eat fish straight from the sea, walk up the creek, walk along the beach at full moon, explore the ancient village of Takaungu.
William and Nickson can cook, do food preparation, wash the dishes, laundry and cleaning, bed-making etc.
The last 20 metres of the private drive is a steep 4 wheel drive only hill. 2 wheel drive vehicles can be left at the top of the hill 50 metres from the house.
Disponible para huéspedes
You have use of the whole house and you may be sharing with others if other bedrooms are booked. You have two charming helpful caretakers William and Nickson.
