Great location with access to public transit in the heart of Lincoln Park neighborhood and permit parking (24hr parking permits available for $5/each).
Amenities include: toiletries, linens, towels, HD antennae (no cable) and wifi.
We do NOT have: microwave, drip coffee machine.
Built in 1883, our unit has two storefront facades on the ground floor - very unique space. As you can see in the Photos the walls are not full height, but more loft style. Air, light and noise travels easily so if you are looking for a lot of privacy between the rooms, this is not a good choice for you.
We are (always) between house projects so everything is livable, but we have some rough corners here and there. In addition, it is an older building so the doors can stick a bit, the windows are original.
Kitchen was recently completed in 2017. Bathroom is next on the list!

If you are staying at the Smith Storefront it means that we are not :) Keys to the unit will be provided to you via lockbox - code and instructions sent 24hrs before check-in.
Smiths available via text/email/phone, but if not for some reason we have local emergency contacts as well.

- We are constantly improving our place. As such there are some unfinished areas, the bathroom needs to be updated. But it is lovely and livable!

We consider 25+ nights long term.
Given that you are using the space for a month's time, the utility bills will reflect your usage and habits of gas and energy. As Owners we are responsible for and will pay these to our local providers.
If your usage falls outside of the following monthly cap* you will receive an ADDITIONAL charge following your stay to account for your excessive use.

Help us keep this a smoke-free atmosphere. If you must smoke, please do so outside and properly dispose of cigarette butts. No smoking of any kind indoors, please.
Please refrain from hosting large groups or parties, and from playing loud music in consideration of the neighbors and other residents in the building.
Any unreturned or lost keys will result in a $125 fee.

My husband and I live in lower Lincoln Park near Downtown Chicago. Originally from Minnesota, I have been living in Chicago since 2011 after doing a small tour in Seattle, WA.
Traveling is one of my favorite things to do and I have been fortunate enough to spend a summer in Shanghai, Christmas in Kuala Lumpur, Spring Break in Washington, DC and my husband and I spent our honeymoon in the Mosel Valley in Germany.
