The oldest house, a monte built in mud, stone and wood, was recovered in the late '90s and kept the traditional structure and traits. The part for guests has a double room, a large living room (where a large sofa can be used as an extra bed).
A grassy area with swings for the kids to play football and sandy area at the back for them to explore - with horses in the adjoining field, sheep up the road and the sounds of cockerel. A swimming pool is something lovely for a cooling dip. The house is within walking distance of the quiet, friendly village of São Bartolomeu and a short drive to Santiago do Cacém, a small but bustling and welcoming town where there are a couple of bigger supermarkets and some small bakeries, lovely parks and a children's playground. There's also a lot for you to dicover by yourself.
