Although we never met Simo, we had no issues with Mohammed his manager at the Riad. He was polite respectful and professional. The Riad is really nice, perfect location near Blue Gate and many nice restaurants and cafes around. What we liked most about this place was that they were not pushy in selling tours, guides, their restaurants like other places. The suite itself was very nice and kept in a very clean state. We had great time.

Mohamed made us feel very welcome and greeted us when we arrived with a complimentary tea and delicious home-made biscuits. He was always at hand if we needed anything. A big thank you for helping us with our suprise birthday cake at dinner! Breakfast was lovely! With a selection of breads, tea and coffee. We paid for our dinner which was lovely home-made and the cook was very helpful. They let us change our meals as we were confused on the tagine selection. Was delicious. Very close to the blue gate and easily accessible. Lovely terraced areas and different levels of places to sit to enjoy the sunshine :)

Upon Arrival Simo was very helpful sending a hotel employee to collect us from the Medina entrance. We had our own car so he provided us with safe parking near the Riad and then lead us to the house. Very helpful! The room looked exactly as it did on the image. Large, beautifully decorated with ensuite toilet. It was all lovely. The courtyard in the middle is really nicely done up, Moroccan style. The only thing is when we left the Riad it took us hours to find the parking and our way around Fes because it's so complicated and there are too many little roads. It was actually really simple to get there but we couldn't find our way around it at all and his employee was too busy to walk us there again.

Our stay at Riad Louna was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment our plane arrived in Fez, to the moment we left for Marrakesh, Simo and the rest of the staff have been like family. The facilities are impeccable, but even better are all the amazing people running the Riad. Thank you for the hospitality and making our stay in Fes fantastic. We will definitely see you next time we are in Morocco; Cheers! P.S. If you are ever hungry and dont want to deal with the chaos inside the medina, check out Restaurant Riad Louna at the rooftop of the Riad; excellent food and atmosphere.

I can not recommend this Riad enough!! It was an absolute blessing to stay there. I am very sad to say that my boyfriend and I arrived in very poor condition- I had injured my ankle that morning in Marrakech and had to travel the 9 hours by train to Fes and by the time we got there my boyfriend was sick from food poisoning. So we didn't get to see anything of Fes in our 3 day stay!! But Mohammed took AMAZING care of us! Our breakfast was brought to the room every day, he checked in with us at least twice a day and even sent the wonderful Fatima to massage and wrap my ankle! By the time we left we felt like part of the family. The bed was rather hard so if you are looking for a softer sleep maybe try a different room but the service CAN'T BE BEAT! The room was absolutely lovely- huge with a generous en suite bathroom. We also had dinner one night on the terrace which was totally worth the money and delicious!

Travel and interacting with different cultures is my life.

As a host, I want to help people enjoy the incredible beauty of Morocco and her lovely people, and at the same time give people a little bit of a break when they are feeling overwhelmed by it all.

Meanwhile, I can also offer loads of information on Moroccan tours, history, and cultural information, including cooking classes and language training in Arabic, English, Darija/Moroccan, or Berber for those who are interested.
Morocco has it all - the history, the markets ('souks') in the walled city ('medina'), the medieval city of Fez, the Atlas mountains (with skiing in winter) and beaches on both the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts, not to mention the Sahara desert, where you can ride a camel and sleep in a tent - with air-conditioning (in the tent, unfortunately not on the camel).

Let me make your dream of an exotic vacation in Morocco come true. Just drop me a message and tell me what you need.
