This is #2 of 3 cottages we have for rent, and it has much to offer!
Open layout, sliding glass doors to a large sun deck, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms... bright, clean and ready to welcome you!
Come get a taste of Cape Cod the way it used to be. We'd love to see you!
Come see us this summer!
*Our cottages are self catering and available for 7-night stays from June 17th to September 9th.
3-DAY MINIMUM STAYS are welcome in the shoulder seasons, and the cleaning fee for a 3-day stay is $50 (not $100).
Self catering means you should plan to bring your own bed sheets and towels. For our guests coming from Europe, we will gladly provide everything you need.
This is the largest of our 3 cottages.
From the dining room table you can overlook the garden and a spacious deck with flowering plants and succulents.
There are two bedrooms: a double bed and two twin beds, each with new firm mattresses. The tiled bathroom has a full tub and overhead skylight.
A roomy, well equipped kitchen with a family-sized refrigerator makes this a great option for cooking meals at home. You also have your own picnic table with a small grill.
Cottage 2 was rebuilt in the spring of 2007, literally from the ground up. It now has central heat and air-conditioning, new windows, a new roof, new slider and a new deck. An outside shower has also been added.

Elke's love of Cape Cod started over forty years ago when she brought her family here and decided it was where she wanted her two sons to grow up.
Her love of nature, books, cooking and meaningful friendships preceded that. Myriad bird feeders and quintessential Cape Cod gardens are further examples of her caring nature and appreciation for the outdoors. Her hospitality is matched by her authenticity, and she's known for her can-do spirit, ready smile, and coveted Christmas cookies.
So many of her guests have become dear friends and return year after year (in some cases decade after decade!) to stay here and soak up the truly special environment that she's cultivated and preserved. It really is the best of Cape Cod, the way it used to be.
We are Wheel In Cottages, our website is our business name, and we encourage you to read our reviews and testimonials. Thank you for your interest --- we would love to hear from you!
Pictured with Elke is her granddaughter Heidi (composing).
I had the immense blessing of growing up here and learned the spirit of hospitality from watching her. Taking "flower walks" through the gardens, having family meals around the picnic table, welcoming guests and working hard, she taught me the importance of integrity and living with purpose. I've inherited so many of her traits and carried them into my own pursuits as a private chef, artist, nature lover and proudly domestic Cape native.
I live close by and help with admin details among other things. We would both love to share with you the very special place we call Home, nestled in the beauty of the National Seashore (just a short drive from Coast Guard Beach where our profile picture was taken).
