Atención a los huéspedes

We live on the property as well, and we therefore can provide breakfast and dinner at an extra cost. By arrangement, help can be provided with managing guests with special needs as Amanda has worked in aged care and has earned her CERT III. Our friendly dogs will be happy to play fetch with you. We are happy to discuss any aspect of our farm operation or our local area with you.

Weather and fire bans permitting, we also offer a bonfire under the stars, for the socially oriented musicians, singers and storytellers.

At all times, we respect your wishes for privacy if preferred.

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life this is the place to go. With no phone reception or WiFi and no traffic noise you could truly relax. Trevor and Amanda came and said hello but then left us to our own devices which was great.

We had such a relaxing time at Forest Glen Organic Farm Stay, it was the perfect escape from our busy city lives. Trevor & Amanda were very friendly & welcoming. The kids loved their dogs, the horses, the chickens, the kangaroos & the vast open space to run around, ride their bikes & play. The house slept our 3 families comfortably and we all enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen. Our favourite moment was when we sat around the massive camp fire Trevor built for us, amazing. A truly easy way to spend time away. Thank you!

My family and our friends (3 other families) had a great time at the farm. There was more than enough room for all of us. The children in our group loved the bunk room with the snooker and ping pong. The house itself was clean and inviting. Had absolutely everything we needed and more to accomodate our stay. The pictures don't do it enough justice. All the children had so much space to run around and play, we had games of founders and football. The super friendly dogs were a big hit with them too. As was the pool!

The accommodation was a rustic converted shed that provided ample room for three families. There was one bathroom inside and 2 toilets but there was access to extra toilets and showers in a block near the pool which was fabulous with such a big group. Good kitchen with large stove for big cook-ups. Great kids room with table tennis, pool table and singles and bunks to sleep 10, though very cold (not well insulated and limited heating) and with the smell of paint, which gave a couple of kids headaches. We ended up moving the kids to the living area to sleep for the remaining nights. The kids all loved exploring the tea tree plantation and we all enjoyed walking to and hanging out at the lovely nearby creek. There was a power outage but no back up power for dinner time, which was tricky, though we managed with lighters for the gas stove and candles for light it did, however, leave us without drinking water and showers, we asked for drinking water and were happily given a large (15L?) bottle of water, luckily the power came back on later that evening and we could wash up. We enjoyed the fire pit outside and sipped wine under the stars. Stumbled on a local tea tree plantation and distillery with a manager that was kind enough to show us how it all works! We also visited a Bison farm about 1/2 hr away.

We had a lovely time on the farm. The accommodation was definitely very spacious and private. We made good use of the large, well-equipped kitchen, the pool table and ping pong table as well as all the fields and pasture land to walk through. The dogs were so friendly and such a treat for the kids and we all loved watching the mob of kangaroos just outside every morning. Our only disappointment was that Trevor and Amanda weren't there as we would have loved to meet them. They had someone there to show us around and help us out though.

We are Trevor and Amanda Roberts. We had moved from beautiful home in Sydney's Northern Beaches to Bungwalbin, which is Northern New South Wales, in 2006 when we bought our equally beautiful, fully organic certified farm. This was a true tree change, giving us an entirely new experience from our former lives tied up with the corporate sector. Since then, we've had people come from all over to stay with us or work on the farm. It really has been a great experience!

As well as a half a dozen free ranging horses and a small flock of free ranging chickens (chooks), we also have two friendly border collies on the property. Their names are Wags and Sophie, and they form an important part of the farm's social scene.

Amanda loves cooking and runs a catering business, so you're sure to eat great food during your stay if you opt for meal packages. She is equally passionate about the aged sector, and has worked in many different capacities in that field. Consequently, we love hosting coaches full of retirees seeking an enjoyable day out, and we give special attention to aged farm stay clients. Our facilities at the farm are disabled friendly.

Trevor is passionate about astronomy and you can view the stars of the Southern skies on a clear night through one of his powerful telescopes. He entertains the coach tour clients with a light-hearted but informative talk and tour, during which he will be more than happy to demonstrate the tea tree oil extraction process.

Music and travel form an important part of our lives, which is why we treat seriously peoples' travel arrangements and our objective is to make sure that our guests enjoy their visits to our farm.
