Roomy two-story 1917 Craftsman bungalow. Step back in time... the decor is mostly 1950's, but the houses on "porch street" are vintage 1920's Asheville.
From one to five people welcome. Ideal for family or friends getaway.
Centrally located on quiet residential street, only a few blocks from restaurants & shops.
You and the members of your group will be the only guests at any given time. You will have private use of two adjoining bedrooms and one bath, and access to all the other rooms seen in the photos. This space is ideal for a family group or a group of friends-who-feel-like family and want to save money at the cost of some privacy. You can also save money by preparing meals in the well-equipped kitchen. This is my home, so I'll be sharing the public spaces.
Disponible para huéspedes
Downstairs is a small room with a twin bed, next to a full bathroom.
Upstairs are two adjoining guest bedrooms. One has a double bed, and one has a futon bed that sleeps two. Both bedrooms have solid doors, but access to the main bedroom is THROUGH the futon bedroom. Guests sleeping in the double bedroom pass through the futon bedroom to get to the upstairs bathroom.
Atención a los huéspedes
As your resident host, I will share some of the public spaces but will give you as much privacy as possible.

I've lived in this wonderful urban oasis forty years. I enjoy walking to downtown Asheville or to UNCA. I'm retired after working in public and university libraries, including a dozen years in our local history archive. I enjoy singing in a chorus, gardening in my back yard, and making three-dimensional art. The Tarot House is decorated with my art, much of it inspired by my interest in Tarot Cards. Readings are available.
