A thoughtfully designed, spacious 3 bedroom house situated along the Fife Coastal path between St.Monans and Elie with wonderful views of Newark Castle and the coast. Private, peaceful, extremely well equipped and environmentally friendly!
Newark Castleview is a spacious, contemporary and energy efficient home with stunning sea views situated beside the ruins of the 16th century Newark Castle. We receive much feedback from our guests, many of them returning anually, who find themselves more than content with staying close to their 'home from home'; enjoying the walks along the beaches or sitting upstairs gazing at the incredible views. It is peaceful and secluded yet easily accessible.
The house was a labour of love; designed and built by us, using sustainable energy systems, locally sourced materials and labour when possible and furnished to a high and comfortable standard. We aimed to make the most of the idyllic location, to utilise the space and to make it enjoyable for all of our guests, young and old. The ground floor in particular is ideal for those with mobility problems; the front door to the house has wide, easy access and two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, as well as the kitchen and downstairs living room.
