In order to provide an honest review I must detail our troubled arrival but I must make clear that this was the only problem with our stay, everything else was totally fine and I would happily stay at Cisco's apartment again. I cannot stress that enough.
The house is a lovely one bedroom flat near the old Tempelhof airport which is awesome to walk around. You will also be surrounded by pubs, restaurants and shops. Its very close to the u-bahn and you will be very happy/lucky to stay here on your time in Berlin :)
The address that was supplied by Cisco on our itinerary was incorrect (it was actually an apartment 2 mins walk around the corner so not far).
We arrived at the address supplied and waited for contact from Cisco to let us in. I had contacted him by email the week before with no response and by text and calling but did not hear anything back until much later that day.
I had to call the AirBNB customer helpline (which did not go very smoothly either initially) in order to try and sort out what was happening. Thankfully they were able to help and whilst I was talking to them Cisco replied to my messages and everything was sorted out. Unfortunately for his Mother, who met us to transfer the keys, she had been waiting for several hours for us to arrive but as we had the wrong address we were not able to meet earlier. And i couldn't quite communicate the issue properly due to language barriers (which was quite funny in a way :D )
Apart from this everything was fine. Again its important to note that whilst it wasn't a perfect arrival this should not deter you as its a simple matter to resolve.
