The Lodge is a very generous, open plan guest room with en-suite. Renovated in 2015 it is decorated in vintage-meets-modern fabrics and furniture. Breakfast is provided in the room for the perfect retreat. We are a retreat from the city centre, set in a rural location within a robust 20 minute walk to town. Don't be surprised if the walk back takes longer as we are up hill all the way from the centre of Bath - but guests say we're worth it!
The Lodge is a large, recently renovated (March 2015) 'vintage meets modern', self-contained open-plan (bed and living) room and en-suite.
People who have stayed here have said how much they love that we are not in the centre of Bath and while they enjoyed touring the city, it's attractions and great restaurants, the Lodge was a perfect retreat at the end of the day and waking up to the peace and quiet was the perfect conclusion.
All the ingredients for a generous and contemporary continental breakfast are provided in the room so that you can prepare and enjoy it when you want, uninterrupted, whilst looking out on the surrounding gardens and wildlife spotting and where you want; in bed, at the table provided or on a sunny day, outside.
The Lodge is one of two guest rooms at Foxhill Lodge Breakfast in Bed. It is an open plan guest room with its own generously sized bathroom. It is newly renovated to a high standard. The room provides luxurious space for a couple to eat, sleep and relax. The room has been decorated in fashionable ‘vintage meets modern’ fabrics and furniture which are both refreshing and calming. There is a king-sized brass bed and a seperate day bed. The bathroom has a newly installed WC, washbasin and large, pressure maintained shower. Black-out lining and blinds have been incorporated to minimize your chances of being woken up too early!
Also in the room there is a television plus coffee and tea-making facilities and a toaster.
Unusually in Bath we allow 1 night bookings. We also offer an early check in time to allow people to enjoy Bath to the max - guests can collect keys from our key safe from 3pm and drop off your bags in your room. As we're a very small B&B, we are not always around but we will be available between 6pm - 8pm and available via mobile phone most of the time.
The price listed is based on two people sharing the king size bed. The is an additional charge of £10 if you require two beds to be made up.

Atención a los huéspedes
We live below The Lodge so are on hand to offer directions and share our experiences to make your stay fabulous. Please come and talk to us any time. If guests arrive outside of usual times we will organise a safe place for keys if we can't be there in person. We let the guests lead on whether they want contact with us or not, some prefer to text, others to come and chat, we don't mind either.

Foxhill Lodge is set in countryside yet walking distance from the city centre. From our house it takes around 20 mins to walk (down) into the city of Bath. Bath as you may know is very hilly and we live on a hill so the walk back will take longer (around 30 mins) and we recommend either catching a taxi from the railway station or the bus (13) from the bus station (next to the railway station).
Unfortunately no pets
Only paid-for guests in rooms
Price based on maximum 2 guests, sharing king size bed only
No laundry washing in room please (in an emergency we can put on a wash for you or there is a laundrette nearby)
No hot takeaway meals to be eaten in the room please
I am a full time mum and part time life coach and breakfast in bed host. I have lived in Bath for the last eight years with my husband, two children, our short-haired german pointer, guinea pig and four chickens. We love where we live which if a fabulous balance of rural surroundings and yet is a 'stones throw' from M&S. I love running when I can and there are some fantastic flat runs nearby. I love travelling - after the event - and rubbish tv.
