Voted one of the 15 coolest street neighbourhoods in the world by Vogue magazine, easy access to Shibuya & Shinjuku, 6min walk to shimokitazawa station, quiet street off main shopping area bustling with culture, music & art with nice izakayas, bars & shops.
Experience the casual and friendly charm of Shimokitazawa, commonly called "Shimokita - many small theater halls, live houses, bars and secondhand record shops, and this town is known as a trendsetting place for youth culture.
The apartment has decent sound proofing due to its construction but please respect the neighbours and the neighbourhood :) Please keep the noise down past 9pm and do not be loud on the balcony. Much appreciated!

"We're only on this planet a little while, don't mess with it. Spread a little cheer...and you're gone!" - Robert August (The Endless Summer)
Konichiwa & G'day! I'm a Chinese Australian who's been living and loving life in Tokyo since 2008!
I'm an Art Director/Graphic Designer by day and by night I usually love exploring the endless izakayas and bars in the city with friends. Often times simply biking around town and taking photos of this bustling city can be pure enjoyment - endless inspiration! Sometimes getting out to nature and the tranquility of the Japanese countryside on the weekends is a must!
I stay active and enjoy surfing in the summer, snowboarding in the winter(the resorts in Japan can be amazing!) and in my downtime I'm always up for a beer with good friends or simply watching movies or chillin to good tunes. With the Japanese work schedule it can be often hard to take long overseas trips but that I do get out as much as I can :)
Always happy to share my experiences or local knowledge with tourists or travellers both here and abroad - I believe in broadening your world and what better way to do that than sharing stories and cultures with the locals!
Whether our paths cross in Japan or not I wish everyone an amazing journey and hope that your trip to Japan brings you rewarding and exciting experiences. Peace and Love!
