A 20-25 min walk (steep walk in places) or 8 min taxi ride from the Hiroshima Station North Exit to stunning views over Hiroshima on one side and tree covered hills on the other. Plenty of hiking courses just out the door.
3 tatami rooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom - plenty of space for family or group of friends to relax in a Japanese style apartment, sleeping on tatami and futon.
Please note that the apartment is on the 5th floor with no elevator.
A smallish carpark is available.
[ location ]
Only an 8 minute taxi ride/20-25 minute walk from Hiroshima station but with sweeping views over Hiroshima City and out to the Inland Sea. 3 tatami rooms and kitchen, complete with carpark means this is perfect for families or groups.
The Mahogany steak restaurant and cafe, 5 minutes walk down from the apartment, is the perfect place to relax at the end of the day and talk over your adventures around Hiroshima. Or get even better views of the sunset over the silver peace pagoda from the veranda of the apartment.
PLEASE NOTE: The apartment is on the 5th floor, no elevator access (be prepared to walk up 5 flights of stairs!). Also, although it is only about 20-25 minutes walk to the Hiroshima station, the road is steep in places. I recommend taking a taxi the first time (only about 800 yen, 8 minutes)
Children up to and including 3 years old are at no cost.

We are a family of 4, with two multicultural (New Zealand/Burma/Japan) children aged 10 and 7, now living in Shinkawa, Tokyo, having lived in Hiroshima for more than 15 years. We got married at the Itsukushima Shrine, Miyajima in Hiroshima
Having lived in Hiroshima for 15 years we know what a great place it is! One of the reasons our Hiroshima rooms are on airbnb is that we want everyone to enjoy Hiroshima as much as we did. Feel free to ask us any questions about things to do and places to go.
We have 3 apartments in the same 5-stories building near Gotanda station, Tokyo. We live on the 5th floor and have guests stay in the self-contained apartments on the 3rd and 4th floors so would be delighted to be able to say hi while you are here.
