Although, Lani Kai and Kailua Beach tend to receive all the attention, quiet Waimanalo Bay shares the same magical windward coast charms but without the crowds. The white sandy bottom bay and beach stretches for miles. It remains one of Oahu s unspoiled beauties. Staying in Waimanalo will allow you to enjoy the feeling of being away from it all but still have all the convenience of Waikiki and downtown Honolulu only 30 minutes away. Waimanalo Beach is also famous for the filming of Magnum PI, Baywatch, Lost, Hawaii 50 and other shows.
About the home
Relax and enjoy this beautiful island style home. Perfectly laid out for large or multiple Ohanas (families). The home offers a large open floor plan with breathtaking ocean and mountain views. A master and second bedroom are located in the Sherwood Forest wing and are connected by the large master bath (complete with a two person jacuzzi tub!) On the Makapuu wing you will find the second Master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a 4th bedroom with its own bathroom as well. This home provides more than enough space to spread out and comfortably sleep10 people. There are a total of 4 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room with enough seating for 10+, and large living room with a wet bar and game table for those fun family nights. An expansive deck faces out to the ocean. There is an outdoor shower and boogie boards and snorkel equipment!
The home is also securely gated with its own private beach access gate. Make sure to wake up early and enjoy your morning cup of coffee under the covered lanai and experience some of the most amazing rainbow colored sunrises, play on the beach, and fall asleep to the sound of the surf.
More about the location
You will be within walking distance to: small markets, cafes, plate lunch, or shave-ice. Anything else you may want is only 15 minutes away in the quaint beach town of Kailua, or the larger town of Hawaii Kai where you will find theaters, restaurants, and shopping, Costco and much more!
There are several activities in close proximity including Sea Life Park where you can swim with the dolphins and experience a Hawaiian Luau with fire dancers. Or you can hike the easy trail up to the Makapu'u Lighthouse where you will be able to whale watch in the winter months. Along a 10-minute breathtaking coastal drive you' can stop at Makapu'u and Sandy Beaches (world famous body surfing beach), Blowhole, Hanauma Bay (Snorkeling) and arrive in Hawaii Kai with great restaurants, shopping and all sorts of activities from boating, jet-skiing, para-sailing, golf, etc.
A 30-40 minute drive will take you to Pearl Harbor, Downtown, Waikiki and Ala Moana Shopping Center. A 45 minute to an hour drive will take you to the North Shore and Haleiwa.
So come relax and enjoy this beautiful beachfront island oasis. Located on the East-side of the island of Oahu, Its one of the only places on Oahu where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of 'town', yet still be so close to so many great activities.
*This property does have a separate dwelling with long term renters. The home is very private and long term renters do not have access to any of the vacation rental areas.

In compliance with the Revised Ordinances of the City & County of Honolulu, the Property will be made available to you for your use and occupancy for a period of thirty (30) days from the Arrival Date. If your scheduled stay is for a period of less than 30 days, you may extend your stay by paying for each additional day that you occupy the Property at the same daily rate per night, payable in advance of your arrival. If you do not wish to extend your scheduled stay and vacate the Property before the end of the 30 day period, the Property will remain vacant through the end of the scheduled 30 day period. CONDITIONS OF RENTAL
This reservation is for quiet residential vacation accommodations only. Therefore, parties, receptions, weddings, luaus, events, and gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. No additional people beyond the maximum occupancy of the house are allowed on the rental property at any one time, unless disclosed to and agreed upon by Property Manager in writing.
The names of all customers staying at the rental must be listed above. If the names of the customers in your group change, this must be communicated in writing to Property Manager. Additional customers beyond those identified above are not permitted and will result in an additional fee of $100 per person/per night. Property Manager does not verbally confirm additional customers. Additional customers must be approved by Property Manager in writing.
Customer's reservation is accepted for one family or group of individuals for this accommodation only and, unless disclosed to and agreed upon by Property Manager will not be used in combination with other accommodations.
Quiet hours are from 8pm until 8am local time. Customer's use of the rental is subject to local noise ordinances, therefore loud amplified music is not allowed. Noise complaints are subject to local law enforcement intervention. Law enforcement intervention will be deemed by the Property Manager as a breach of this Agreement and may lead to cancellation.
The rental shall be in the same condition upon departure as at check-in, normal wear and tear excepted. Excessive cleaning as defined above will result in an extra fee.
Customer may not sublet or assign this Agreement.
Customer may cook only in areas specifically designated for cooking in the rental.
Customer must immediately notify Property Manager of any fire or other damage or injury to the rental or any person on the rental property.
Customer shall be liable for all acts of the family, invitees, employees, or other persons invited onto the rental property by customer.
Customer shall be responsible to return all keys and gate or garage door openers upon departure. Failure to do so may result in a replacement fee.
Customer shall abide by the House Rules of the Property manager and/or the Condominium Association as provided to Customer upon check-in.
Customer shall not bring any pets into the rental or onto the rental property.
Customer understands that Property Manager cannot guarantee that adjacent properties will be free from disturbances and/or not be under construction, being repaired or maintained in any way, or that Government construction projects will not be in progress around the rental unit. Construction on adjacent properties or construction conducted by the Government is not reason for termination of this agreement, nor is it a reason for the refund of any monies to customer.
Customer agrees that contact with or viewing of a pest inside or outside of your rental is not reason for termination of this Agreement nor is it a reason for a refund of your payment. Customer understands that insects, rodents and lizards unfortunately flourish in tropical environments. If Customer's rental is in a tropical climate you will undoubtedly encounter these pests during your stay. Customer understands that Property Manager makes its best efforts to hold to an absolute minimum your interaction with these pests.
Any issues Customer has with the rental must be reported immediately to the Property Manager via the email and or phone number listed in the rental's directions and entry instructions. Property manager has a reasonable amount of time (ie 24 hours) to restore rental to acceptable conditions. Any issues presented after check out cannot be remedied and are not cause for compensation to Customer.
Customer understands that this is a non-smoking property and agrees to not smoke in the rental.
Customer shall not permit any use of a pool or Jacuzzi by unsupervised children or other customers, and shall keep pool gates closed at all times.
Customer and other invitees shall use the pool and Jacuzzi at their own risk.
Customer understands that there are certain risks inherent to persons and property located adjacent to the ocean, ski slopes or to a golf course.
Customer acknowledges that the Property manager would not rent this rental unless the customer accepted these conditions and assume these risks.
**** AS A REMEDY FOR VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE STATED CONDITIONS OF RENTAL IN THIS AGREEMENT, PROPERTY MANAGER HAS THE RIGHT, BUT IS NOT LIMITED OR REQUIRED TO, TERMINATE THIS AGREEMENT AND EVICT THE CUSTOMER FROM THE RENTAL WITHOUT ANY REFUND OF COLLECTED MONEY AND MAY KEEP ALL OR ANY PORTION OF THE SECURITY DEPOSIT.
