Beachside rooms on Croatia's most unique island. Rented by the owners who reside there most of the year.
Susak has no cars, no ATMs, and no hotels – which helps it remain as unique as it ever was, with its sandy hills, incomparable vegetation, and unique customs.
Accessed by catamaran from Rijeka and boats from Mali Lošinj, Susak is the North Adriatic's best-kept secret. But the seclusion doesn't preclude comfort. Susak 272 offers wifi, air conditioning, and kitchen usage, with food grown in our own vegetable garden, with locally-caught fish available at excellent rates.
The house opens on the island's widest beach, which is shallow, warm, and sandy, ideal for children, paddling in the sand, and relaxing swims. Most of our guests return year after year, having fallen in love with the place. The entire house is now available for rent, and can house up to three families for a fixed price: ask with confidence.
We are also flexible, and our guest bedrooms (accomodating 3 and 4 people) can be rented singly out of season – just ask for a special offer.
And from Spring 2017, our façade has been thoroughly restored using the most appropriate materials (stone, iron, glass, cedarwood and larchwood), and a bright, warm color palette, to bring it in line with its 19-century heritage, and to house us and our guests for decades to come.
