Tucked away off the beaten track, with unimpeded views of Rushcutter's Bay and the park, this beautiful, bright, and quiet one bedroom Art Deco apartment, with separate kitchen, bathroom, lounge and bedroom, is only a 5 min walk to the bustling Kings Cross area, top-notch cafes, supermarkets, artisan food stalls, grocers and wine shops.
5-7 min walk to Kings Cross station.
Easy access to the city, beach & airport by train or taxi.
I love this apartment. With its original sculpted ceilings, wooden floors and beautiful bay windows the place is bursting with so much light, character and charm.
And although it's only a 5 minute walk to the bustling Kings Cross station, (from which you have easy access to the city, beaches, airport), the apartment is actually tucked away at the end of a little lane, nestled in the tree line above the beautiful Rushcutters Bay below. When you need to unwind after a full day's sightseeing, you can take a moment to enjoy the peace and quiet as you watch the yachts pull in and out of their moorings. And at night if you have the windows open, you might just hear the occasional chink of a mainsail...
The place naturally has a fully stocked kitchen (fridge/freezer, oven, washing machine, dish washer, grill, coffee machine), which you're welcome to use.
The bathroom has a bath and shower (the shower head is what you might call 'pre-loved' - perfectly clean and functional, and still in place on the wall, but a replacement shower head holder is on order, and you need to avoid touching it).
The lounge boasts two large sofas and a dining room table which could easily fit six for dinner.
The bedroom has a large double bed, with views over the bay. Large two door wardrobe where you can put some stuff if you need. One of the sofas in the lounge can be turned into a queen sized bed also.
Free wifi. There is a DVD player, but no TV set up I'm afraid.
Disponible para huéspedes
You'll have access to the whole property.
Help yourself to milk, tea, coffee. Foods in the cupboard is for emergencies only.
I live here, so just treat it like you would your friend's parents' house.
While I'd rather you didn't have any parties at the house, dinner parties of up to six people are fine.
Please be respectful of the piano (no food, drink near it), but feel free to play it. Please just be mindful this is a peaceful little building, and the neighbours might not appreciate your performance if it's at full volume.
If you're not sure how to use the coffee machine, maybe leave it be.
If you lose a key, we should be able to arrange a new one, but the cost will be $100.
I will arrange for people to be oncall if you need any help during your stay.
