"I Felzi" is located in the centre of Venice’s historical downtown, in a quiet area called Fondamente Nove close to the Rialto Bridge (10 minutes on foot). It has been recently fully restored and mostly furnished in a traditional Venice style. Easily attainable by public transports (lines n.1, n. 4.2 and 5.2).
Ideal for a couple, the apartment is made up of a living room with an open kitchen, a bathroom with wooden floor, a wide bedroom enlightened by original Murano glass chandelier and appliques.
The living room, very bright, faces a typical venetian campiello, silent and charmy. There you have at your disposal a flat screen full HD TV (digital terrestrial TV), an internet free WIFI connection and many books at the wall library (for your relax time). By using the USB port on the TV backside with your own pen drive, you can enjoy your preferred films, videos and music loaded at home.
The kitchen, open on the living room, is fully equipped with a fridge, an oven, 4 cooking gas fires, a toaster, and all the dishes and tools necessary to cook at home. A washing machine is also available.
Your bedroom is composed by a Queen size bed, a modern wardrobe, an old “comò” and two bedsides in style.
The bathroom is modernly furnished and there you can relax with a comfortable, wide shower. A wall towel-rail heats up the room.
In wintertime an independent heating is provided while in summertime the air conditioning unit allows a comfortable staying in the whole apartment.
Minimum staying period: one week.
“I FELZI” apartment is located at a short distance from the houses where Tiziano (in the XVI century) and Guardi (in the XVIII century) lived; therefore you can experience the emotion of walking through the same streets (calle) they had been walking along at their times. Moreover you can enjoy a visit to the beautiful baroque Church of Gesuiti (Santa Maria Assunta) which is only two hundred meters far from my apartment.
In this area you can easily find also many “osteria” and “bacari” where to eat typical venetian food. If you prefer cooking at home, you can shop at the nearest supermarket which is less than 5 minutes far on foot.
How to reach-
Once arrived at P.le Roma or at the Railway Station (S. Lucia) you can use the public transport lines in order to reach the apartment: line n.1 (stop at Cà d’Oro) or lines n. 4.2, 5.2 (stop at Fondamente Nove). From Marco Polo Airport a boat service (Alilaguna) is available which will bring you directly to the Fondamente Nove.
My name is Roberto and I was born in Venice. "I Felzi" is now part of the house where I have been living for years with my parents. Owing to my professional career, I lived also in Milan and Rome. I love so much travelling; in particular renting an house in the place where I stay. It seems to me a way to feel like a true citizen of that place.
I hope to have you sooner as a guest of mine.
