Spacious 1 bedroom in brick vintage walk-up. In the perfect location with easy access to Wrigleyville, right across from the Lake, shopping, eating and tourist spots. In Boystown, near Lincoln Park and a 10 min. bus ride to Magnificent Mile.
Cozy and charming. I like design and mostly midcentury modern furniture mixed with eccentric pieces found on travels and mementos from friends. My space is bright and fun with a little bit of old and new, high and low end. Just the right mixture.
Original wooden floors, lovely wall moldings showcasing an era of Chicago's old architectural details to give it a luxurious yet historical feel. Vintage Record player to cozy up to with a cup of coffee and a collection of vinyl to rival a night out if you just aren't feeling up to it.
It's a wide open space with great sunlight! Its in a 100 year old building with a lovely fountain in the tree laden courtyard entrance.
There is one enclosed bedroom with a queen sized bed and also a nook which fits a comfortable air mattress/ desk area for work. The couch also serves as a bed for extra guests if needed.
Kitchen and dining room off to the side. Refrigerator and oven plus a convection oven if you'd like to prepare your meals, for which there are three excellent groceries within walking distance. Jewel Osco, Whole Foods and Treasure Island to pick from.
If you'd rather explore, there are countless wonderful restaurants to choose from within walking distance as well.
If you're active, I am near the lake with a 23 mile lakeshore path for biking and running. There is a bike rental right across lakeshore dr. that is a 2 min. walk. I'm also near boystown with an exciting and colorful community filled with great music and nightlife.
Close to CTA lines and the red line, downtown tourist attractions are less than 10 minutes away.
You can't go wrong with this price for this much fun!

I enjoy playing the guitar and performing from time to time. My hobbies are riding my bike along the lakeshore path when the weather permits, traveling, snowboarding, and going to shows. I also enjoy switching my apartment up from time to time with new rehabbed furniture from pieces found at your local salvation army or antique shop.

I want my guests to enjoy their stay in Chicago, I believe it is a world class city. I've lived in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico; Orlando, FL; Tennessee and most recently Detroit, Michigan and this is by far one of my top two. (Close second to Detroit).
I like to think that my space highlights this awesome city and is also cozy enough to chill in if you don't feel like going out.
