Live like a French!
The apartment is very comfortable and cosy. I have recently renovated it, decoration is very personal and unique as everything comes from treasures I brought back from my travels and flea markets.

Anne was very quick to respond to all my questions, she provided directions to the closest metro, however we were very unsure how to reach the apt from there. The area the metro brought us to was not a very desirable area and had I known this travelling with my children I may h…

Thanks for the feedback and for sharing your experience. I would like to kindly remind you that a map from the metro to the apartment was provided to you 3 times by email and on different occasions, its 200m away on a straight line any suggestion on how to make this clearer would be appreciated because I have never had anyone asking this before since its so easy to find. I always send a 10 pages guide I put together to all guests prior to their arrival and it includes – among others – comprehensive explanations on how to walk straight up from the metro to the apartment. Guests also usually check out the location before they get there and don’t send emails once they actually reach the metro station asking for directions. I also noted the towels situation and will look into new ones when I am back, i discussed it with the cleaning lady and she mentioned she had just washed them prior to your arrival, apologies if they were not dry. My bad. As for the bedsheets they were purchased in february as I mentioned to you earlier. I also accept the fact that they have been used for a few months. When it comes to the safety box, I think you are right, I will move it up, its a good idea. You did mention many things but you never mentioned any issue with wifi being difficult to access? I would be interested in your feedback as I never experienced any issue with the internet connection myself and noone ever mentioned it to me. I am taking the liberty to add here a few complaints you had but forgot to write here, such as the TV not working because you had accidentally switched it off, the only 2 rolls of toilet paper available and the shower that broke while you stayed in the apartment and that you blamed me for. I would like to highlight again that I offered to reiumburse your full trip, found a hotel next door for you – 2 minutes walk – and 3 different Airbnb apartments more or less 5 minutes walk to avoid wasting your limited time and offered to book any of them for you since my apartment was so unsatisfactory but you decided to stay no matter what. I do not know where else you travelled next but unless you travelled to London, NYC or Tokyo, your comment on the price seems quite irrelevant to me as its public information that Paris is one of the most expensive cities in the world. Anywhere else you would travel next would obviously be much cheaper. I wouldn’t expect anything else indeed. I also mentioned to you that I was renting my apartment below average prices for the season, I’d like to invite you to have a look at similar places because you are obviously not familiar with the rates in Paris. I am sorry again this didn’t work at all but it did work with other guests before and after you, I am glad you had fantastic experiences with Airbnb after me. It was a learning experience for everyone.
