A basic caravan, with fresh bed linen and towels, parked on the side garden with cooking facilities and utensils, bottled water, camping toilet, use of shower in main house at £3 a shower, microwave, toaster and kettle. This is an outdoor space, but it is homely and if you like to caravan and camp this is a great cheap overnight base with which to go out and explore Dorset, it is not a 5* hotel, and we do have insects. I run a dog sitting business from home, and am very friendly and welcoming.

This is a basic overnight stay and has been priced accordingly; I would ask you to set your expectations of this space based on this point. I have also made the decision that I am looking for guests that have signed up to Airbnb and have reviews from other hosts, as I received a booking from an individual who was not whom they identified themselves to be, and am now a little more cautious that I was initially.
The caravans are on the pebbled and grassed drive. They are lovely but basic, if you love caravans you know what to expect, not a luxury hotel :).
Dogs: We need to be agreed about beforehand, really 1 maximum. I have a cat and a dog and chickens.
Showers: You will share our bathroom for use of the shower, because we do not provide a key to access the house please pre book a shower by 9pm the night before, or just take pot luck that we are in. The shower is available between 6:30 pm to 8pm weekdays. Weekends not before 10:30am to 12 lunchtime (I need a lay in).
Cars and Parking: Do not drive up the drive. Please leave your car on the road, not blocking anyones drive way.
Arrivals: if you are going to be later than 9pm please let me know in advance. If its after 10pm then I will be in bed and the caravan will be left open. If you are later than 10pm then please bring your luggage up the drive the next day. If you are arriving after 12pm then it must be with agreement or come the next day, I cant keep upsetting the neighbours.
Water: drinking water will be left in water bottles in the caravan or outside of the caravan and there is a hose and tap from the garage. I do try to freeze bottles of water and leave them in the caravans in hot weather to make sure guests have a really cold refreshing drink. There is no running water.
The electric heater: (available in autum), is very efficient and just needs to be left on 1 and 1 and it keeps the caravan permanently warm. There are extr covers provided to make sure you do not cold.
Please park your car in the close, please do not leave the car at the top of the drive as you will be blocked in. Please park on the road side near the garages that you passed when you came into 2 Springfield, it just keeps all the neighbours happy. Please try not to block any drives.
I will leave you a bed already made up.
There are bins outside, and a small bin inside.
Some tea and coffee bedding are provided at the start of your stay plus toilet rolls, towels, cleaning things, dish cloths and tea towels. There is emergency food all priced to cover the initial cost. If you need to use the food, just replace it before you leave or leave the cost of the items as labeled. There are electric lights, a Microwave and electric hob, toaster and kettle, crockery and cutlry. The only thing you you need to bring is yourself and clothes.
Locking and Keys: Please note the caravans only lock from the inside, so take your valuables with you. If you are going to be later than 9pm go straight to the caravan, ps bring a torch.
Enjoy your stay.
We are here to be asked for help and want to make sure you have an enjoyable stay
Please tidy up the caravan when you leave, preferably leave it in the same condition it was in when you came. We will remove all dirty laundry and towels and hoover up for the next guests. We provide bins in the caravan and there are some on the drive.
This space is not to booked for children under 6 years old, I run a dog sitting business, the dogs are separate from guests.
No of Guests:
Each caravan is for a maximum of 2 people, (dogs to be agreed prior to booking)
Insects and Spiders:
The caravans are outside in a leafy area in the country, there are a variety of insects that come and visit you especially when you have the lights on in the evening, I can do nothing about this, spiders spin webs very quickly - (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) says 1 hour to spin an orb web, I can clean the space and then bring a guest in, and there is a web, sorry but that is life, it does not mean that the space has not been cleaned, it just means that a spider has spun a web.
If you like camping and caravaning they are great, if you do not you will not be happy here; it is not a 5* hotel. I would love you to visit us and stay but please be aware of the suitability of this venue for your needs.
Bubbly and outgoing, likes outdoor activities, has small icing business (decorating cakes and running classes) and vintage caravans, partner buys and sells vintage clothing, we all love to cook. We are a family of surfers and love the sea, lots of caravan and camping, walking, bit of rock climbing, lots of entertaining, we have a pool table outside, I do a bit of bell ringing - but I am not strange.
