Relax and enjoy yourself in my Texas Hill Country style home located on a safe & quiet street 15-20 mins from downtown, the airport & both Medical centers. There are two spacious decks to enjoy the beautiful outdoor spaces, and guests can use the whole house including the gourmet kitchen, laundry, living room, office with desk, breakfast nook, pool table, two outside dining areas, two indoor dining areas, a hot tub, and more! Stone Oak is one of the nicest and safest suburbs in San Antonio.
My home is a traditional hill country style home with stained concrete floors. I have a huge outdoor space with two covered decks both with outdoor fans and dining areas if you'd like to use the grill and eat a home cooked meal outside. Or cook inside in the gourmet kitchen. There are plenty of grocery stores conveniently located nearby if you'd like to stock the fridge while you are here. The two bedrooms upstairs share a huge bathroom, while the master suite downstairs has a private en suite bathroom with walk in shower and bath tub. There are lots of nooks and crannies to make you feel at home even if you have 6 people staying here. Take a dip in the hot tub under the stars; there are plenty of clean towels for you to use while you're here. Or relax in the living room and watch a show on the giant couch. Need to work while you're here? No problem, just use the office and wifi. I keep and iron and ironing board available and there's a washer and dryer if you need to do any laundry during your stay.
Note: you will notice a lot of reviews mention my sweet and loving dog, Guinness. After 14 years together, I lost my buddy and best friend. I only tell you this in case you are wondering if there will be a dog when you arrive. Thank you for understanding.

I'm sorry, but I don't have cable or TVs in any of the bedrooms. You are welcome to use the TV in the living room. It has an Apple TV and a PS3. Also, feel free to read any of the books on the shelves.
As your are not a resident or tenant, but a licensed guest, you are not entitled to use of any common facilities of the HOA, including the pool, playground, or tennis and basketball courts. Sorry!
My rules are simple. This is my home, you should understand this and respect that this is someone's income and private property. This is not a hotel. Please treat it like you would treat your own home, clean up after yourself, and let me know of you break something.
Respect my neighbors privacy and keep quiet during the week after 10pm and 12 midnight Friday and Saturday.
No parties are allowed. No extra guests or visitors are allowed without prior permission.
I'm very serious and will ask you to leave the house if you are causing my neighbors to complain because you are too loud. If you're drinking and/or being loud, do it inside. If you jeopardize my standing with my neighbors I will remove you from the property without a refund, regardless of your booking.
The rules apply to you! Do not think you can ignore them. Finding another place to stay in San Antonio at the last minute will be very expensive for you.
This is really not a child friendly house, sorry.
Smoking outside only.
My rooms do not have TVs and I do not have cable, but I have plenty of books and magazines and free wifi.
No eating in rooms please. There are plenty of places to eat in the house.
Please be careful and clean up after yourself in the kitchen.
Relax and enjoy yourself!
I work a regular job and I am usually out and about on the weekends, but I'm happy to leave suggestions and tips for the local area as well as things to see and do in San Antonio. I live at the house, but also keep a second residence downtown when guests are using my house. Being close by, I am able to help you pretty quickly if something requires my immediate attention.
I'm a very laid back "go with the flow" type guy. I've traveled extensively all over the world staying almost exclusively at hostels and I think that gives me a unique perspective as a host. If you're looking for a safe and quiet place while visiting San Antonio, look no further.
I enjoy traveling, reading, Netflix binges, playing trivia, movies, projects, and hanging out with friends and family. Seems like there's always something going on.
