The A Frame is a cozy get away! All of your needs and more will be provided! Lots of room for guests, great for gatherings and walking distance to shops and restaurants in G.C Driving distance too many cute surrounding towns, cities and out door activities! We had an amazing time, the hot tub was a great perk!

Very comfortable house, we enjoyed three days in Government Camp viewing the eclipse and this was the perfect base. Easy walk down the hill to town, but on a quiet side street. Highly recommended.

Don's Cabin was a great spot for our small group to appreciate Mt. Hood. We spent our days hiking/swimming/eating and when we reconvened in the evening we had a nice spot to sit in the hot tub and relax with a bottle of wine. A nice touch that we didn't expect to make use of was Don's extensive VHS/DVD collection. The highlight of our trip was a group TAE BO session! Highly recemmended if you are looking at staying at Government Camp!

Very nice cabin, would recommend not bringing a large group however because parking is tight.

Don's "A Frame" in Government Camp is absolutely perfect for the casual crowd that wants to do nothing more than ski during the day, and relax at night. The house is very accurately described and truly is a perfect fit for those taking on the resorts of Mt. Hood. Shuttles to Meadows and Timberline are a walk away, and Ski Bowl is walkable. The large wood fireplace is invaluable for drying out your equipment overnight, and towels were aplenty for showering and hot tub purposes. The kitchen is well stocked and most utensils/cookware you should need are present. All in all I would highly recommend the "A Frame" to anyone that wants to ski and go back to comfort, without getting too fancy.

We enjoyed our after Christmas trip up to Mt Hood and our stay here. The cabin was just as described and actually as much snow, if not more than in the pictures! Which made it difficult to drive to the cabin, so we parked at the bottom of the hill in Government Camp and just carried everything up. Very centrally located and the hot tub, sleds and popcorn machine were extra bonuses! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. In the winter, you will need AWD and studs most likely to make it up, but otherwise very great cabin!

I'm a native Oregonian. I actually come from a family that helped pioneer Oregon, and we have a distant relative whose picture is in the Tillamook Pioneer Museum. My family and I now live in Newberg with Sam, our pup.
