Very clean. Very friendly staff. Could leave bags there for free after check-out. Would recommend to anyone looking for something simple and easy.

Decent place, pretty small but not bad if you are traveling alone. Very clean, convenient location close to Taipei 101 and MRT stations.

The place is very clean and located very close to Taipei 101 (one station away) if that's important to you. It's also in a quiet and safe area. Now to the "need to improve" part. The host does not live there. He/she will be gone after certain hours (9 pm ish). So if you wanna late check in or even need something (locked out of the room for example), would need to call them on the phone. They are quite responsive to phone calls, but it's a challenge if you need something to be done immediately. Another part is that you would need to BUY toothbrushes and towels from their stock. Overall. I think you could get these amenities included with the other rate that is not much different from a conventional hotel in Taipei.

Great location! Great value! The hosts are really nice and attentive. My stay here was great until the last day where I saw two cockroaches in the room. I ended up killing one of them and the other one remained inside the air conditioner.

Casa (the local name for this youth hostel) is very clean and quiet despite being in a rather central location at walking distance from Taipei 101 (for those who like to walk; or one MRT stop away for those who don't). Other pluses included a well-stocked kitchen, highly functional washer *and* dryer (a rarity in Taiwan that is nonetheless essential on steamy and rainy days), and well equipped communal bathrooms. Somehow the photos made the rooms look bigger to me than they actually were, and I found my private room rather cramped. It would have been fine for a shorter stay. Many of the other guests when I was there were not as thoughtful about communal space, often leaving the lights (or even the A/C) on in the common areas, or talking loudly at night. If you are traveling from Europe or North America, don't expect a full "youth hostel" as you know it; there are no full-time staff available and when the staff is there they sit at the communal table in the dining area with their computers, making it seem that this area is no longer open to your use (i.e. they have no office space of their own so as to leave the communal space to the guests). It does not have the feeling of a hostel, but is fine for what it is.
