Relax from the drive for a while and enjoy the flowing water. Two days is best to relax and have time to explore the area. The water temperature is perfect in July- September for swimming. Just what summer is all about. My favorite time of year when you just want to hang out by the clear water.

Art & Lisa are amazing! They've carved out quite a set-up on the Klamath. The studio was perfect. Can't imagine a better way to wake up than right on top of the river. They went above & beyond to accommodate & are full of local knowledge.

Worth every penny - and more - we wished we booked the place for longer! This place is amazing and exceeded all of our expectations. We had our own cozy place next to the beautiful creek that we fell asleep to by leaving the window open at night. Not to mention the outdoor shower that was an experience in it self and the two beautiful dogs that lives with the hosts! Art and Lisa, the hosts, are a wonderful couple and individuals with lots of knowledge, stories and tips for adventures!

Our stay at Art's place was truly memorable. It felt sort of like "glamping" because you're right there on the bank of a beautiful scenic stream, you can go down the ladder and swim in it, there is an outdoor shower, etc. We just had a fantastic time and would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in sleeping next to a river in a rustic yet comfortable environment. Art and his wife were also a great source of information for us. On our way in to Happy Camp Art recommended roads to take for the best views, and while we were there in Happy Camp he gave us a personal tour of the local Native American tribe museum, the forest service geological exhibit, and also a private waterfall a few minutes out of town that was really awesome. Then on our way out Lisa gave us a few tips for our next destination (Ashland). An A+ experience all around!

What an incredible stay in Art and Lisa's creek side spot. The room was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a fantastic hot breakfast and coffee with the sights and sounds of the water trickling past. Art and Lisa are kind and amazing people, and we really enjoyed chatting with them and getting their advice on our next adventures. Can't wait to return next time we're in Happy Camp!

Picturesque, clean, hip and nostalgic at the same time. Harkens back to a simpler time. Creek living, gold rush, golden retrievers playing in the sparkling clear stream, climb down a rickety (but safe) old ladder to wade and pan for gold. My preteen girls and I loved it and loved the gracious, relaxed, helpful owners.

Amazing location and hosts! Art and his wife were so friendly and welcoming and provided such a great Airbnb experience. Waking up right along the river was incredibly peaceful. To top it off, the swimming holes nearby are just beautiful! I highly recommend staying here if you get the chance!

Art and his wife were wonderful hosts. Their place is right on a beautiful stream and the outside shower was amazing! They were also kind enough to let my son and I do a load of laundry before we headed out. Art knows the area really well and took us to a few of his favorite swimming spots. We had a great experience and definitely recommend their place!

Landscape photographer, backpacker and lover of nature. I live and breath in the magnificent Klamath-Siskiyou. A biological wonder-jewel. My goal in life is to be in the wilderness as much as possible and to help raise awareness and responsibility to care for the wild places. My favorite things to do here are hike, swim, bike and photograph. I like to share my love of nature with others.
