A large upstairs attic bedroom featuring king-size bed in a restored 19th century country villa. A twin room is also available to accommodate a party of 4 (see Ashley Villa B&B Upstairs). However steep stairs render this unsuitable for elderly or disabled. The large bathroom containing clawfoot bath, shower and toilet may be shared if twin room is occupied.
The hostess, a descendant of the original house and land occupants, has lovingly restored this villa and surrounds to provide a unique country homestead experience.

Otros aspectos destacables
Ashley Villa is set in a large cottage garden area through which a small creek meanders. A fire pit is situated beside the creek for balmy evenings. A separate building contains gym equipment which guests may use. Guests are requested to treat property with respect and maintain acceptable noise levels.
No smoking inside the house please.
No pets please, as a friendly German Shepherd and two lively young tabby cats live here.
I live on this 0.5 ha property with my 3 friends Zola (German Shepherd), Jasmine and Daphne (young tabby cats) and am surrounded by birdsong, garden, farmland and nature. I was raised on a sheep farm just up the road, but left NZ for 20 years to travel and experience other cultures. I'm now back home enjoying semi retirement, but still love to travel and meet other travellers. I love to socialise over a wine, but fully appreciate that some guests prefer their privacy. I have put a huge amount of effort into restoring this home built by my great grandparents in 1891, and really enjoy sharing it's comfort and homeliness with others.
