Gustav is the resident cat, age 13, of the Norwegian Forest variety.
My house is "shoe free" - so please leave outdoor shoes at the front door. Keeping the house clean for you and the next guest makes everyone happy. Thank you in advance for being tidy.
My house has a separate food compost container on the kitchen counter, a recycling bin for all "clean" containers, paper, plastic, and cans. Almost nothing goes in the trash - this is how Seattle does it and I appreciate your help to be a good environmental steward.
I enjoy sharing my home with guests and respect guest's privacy, and hope you'll do the same. If you want to invite guests for a visit (no overnights), please check with me first. No smoking or parties, please.
You are welcome to help yourself to coffee, tea, use the refrigerator and microwave. There is WiFi in the house. With two resident cats, other pets are discouraged.
The washer and dryer are not available for guest use.
If there's an "oops!" where something is damaged or breaks, please let me know. We can all have an accident, and I'd rather know when it happens than learn after check-out.
My goal is to make sure you have a great time visiting Seattle. Let me know if there is anything I can do to make your stay at here a good one!
I was raised in the South, lived in Virginia. Ohio, California, Oklahoma and Sweden, and now call the PNW home. I've welcomed travelers for many years, knowing how important hospitality is when away from home. I have eclectic tastes in music, enjoy walking, hiking and home improvement. I rarely sit still long enough to read, but I love radio which is my go-to source for news and entertainment.
