Crafty 1st floor bedroom in gorgeous, restored factory building loft. Hardwood floors.Comfy double bed. Philly CC located; just a 4 min walk to the Convention Center, Reading Terminal Market, Chinatown, and 5 music venues! Complimentary Breakfast.

Unique factory loft apartment. Over 90+ 5 star reviews! Perfectly set around so many amazing Philadelphia spots, and directly in between both highways, allowing a quick arrival/departure. Our space is ideal for the traveler who desires a more laid-back, social, travel environment. Like a more upscale travel hostel, but without the drunken kids and questionable bunk beds.

This listing is for the 1st floor bedroom. Full bathroom is directly next to the bedroom. Access to the major loft (communal living room) and enclosed roof deck area. The closet will be locked, but there will be hooks for hanging. Moderately sized, with a double bed. Cots and aero beds are also available if needed. The foyer area opens into a beautiful, open living room. High ceilings, sound system, and walls we occasionally compliment with an amazing projector for movies. Furnished with retro pieces, personal art, and souvenirs of world travels.
Our complex's basement even has a music venue in it, which allows you to see a show, grab a drink, and go right back upstairs! No cabs!

You will have access to all of the above, plus the the following;
Fresh sheets, fluffy towels, shared bathrooms with HEAPS of complimentary guest toiletries. Hardwood bar. Laundry room. Open granite kitchen, complete with any cooking tool or spice.
Complimentary breakfast ; cereals, fruits, granolas, teas, bagels, oatmeal, etc!

This being my room, I will most likely not be around for these reservations. Alison, my roommate, will definitely be around for some lovely recommendations or I can give email you with some ideas!! I will always have my phone in case of issues though, and we will be in touch before and during your stay!

In addition to being so beautiful, this building is also home to an art gallery, large bar/music venue, and recording studio. The neighbors are all amazingly friendly too! Geographically, you're right above Chinatown... (one of the best spots to grab a delicious, inexpensive meal). In addition, we have the Reading Terminal, many art galleries, amazing taprooms, public art and lots of other great places nearby. Fun fact, we're only 5 blocks away from some of the best music venues (4 of them)!

We prefer hosting guests that enjoy a more casual & relaxed, adult atmosphere... so we tend to be a bit selective. We're social ladies, so if you're looking to find a unique event in the city, we'd love to help! Often we have friends and guests around, so we adore sharing experiences with everyone. That being said, more often than not you will find Alison and I watching movies and laying low. Air BnB isn't a hotel, but the home that we're offering to you during your Philadelphia adventures. We really look forward to meeting you!

You can get to almost anything here extremely easily!
Very close to the all forms of public transit and LITERALLY the easiest spot in between 95 and 76! Uber is centrally based 3 blocks from our spot, so it never takes more than 5 minutes for a car to arrive.
CLOSE TO: convention center, chinatown, temple (w subway), hospitals, center city, museums.
PARKING: Street parking is very accessible. Lot parking may be available, or can potentially be purchased ahead of time. Varies by reservation.

Please note: We do have the most friendly, beautiful, cuddly, therapeutic, outgoing, sweet, opinion-changing feline you will ever meet, Zombie. Occasionally there may also be (at your own discretion) Larry David, the chihuahua.

We're easy. No smoking inside, (there is a deck 2 feet from the front door that will be far more enjoyable). We don't believe in curfews for guests, but still ask that you are courteous when returning if you're out after 2am. Finally, if a guest is found to have entered any bedroom that is not their own, it holds grounds for immediate reservation termination. We simply want to ensure that all guests have their own privacy and security of personal belongings.

I loved my stay at Elyse's loft - it was so comfortable and beautiful. Everything was so easy and welcoming - especially Zombie the cat, who I definitely fell in love with. Not to mention close proximity to delicious dumplings. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

My wife and I had a great experience. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated. Elyse and Alison were great. Everything was as advertised. The location was only 2 blocks from the Convention Center. We definitely would stay here again.

Elyse was very welcoming and helpful. The space was exactly as described. It is very spacious and the room itself is private and comfy. Breakfast snacks and hot tea were always available and there were thoughtful extras like a basket of travel toiletries in case you forget anything. Not the best neighborhood but extremely convenient to downtown and the convention center. Overall it was a perfect fit for my needs and I plan to stay here again next time I visit Philly.

We were super impressed with Elyse, as a host, and her place! She was well on top of organising our arrival and made it very easy despite the fact we would never meet. Her place was amazing, so tastefully furnished, full of light, clean, tidy and offering full amenities. Elyse went above and beyond in terms of her role as a host , we felt like we were staying in a hotel! - kitchen and fridge with food we could eat, offering us itineraries for our night in Philly, and a basket full of little toiletries and tidbits in the bathroom! Overall we absolutely loved our night there and wish we could have stayed for longer. Highly recommend!! (Oh and Zombie the cat was a super bonus!!!)

This was a fantastic place to stay. The rates were incredibly affordable, especially for such a great location, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. (Check-in was a breeze, with no need for coordinating, and check-times were very flexible.) The living room is beautiful; I spent a morning working on the couch by the two-story-high windows with the sun pouring over me and the cat. The bedroom doesn't have windows, which makes it very easy to sleep in without street noise or bright light. The bed was great on my sensitive back. Little amenities -- chocolates on the table, breakfast foods, a huge array of mini-toiletries -- made the whole experience very welcoming. If you like cats, this will be the best b&b of your life: the kitty, Zombie, loves attention and will lick your chin while you hold her. A wonderful place to stay in every respect.

Waouw ! We stayed only one night on this appartment but it was awesome ! Elyse is great, she was concerned about us all the time we were there. We had some snacks when we arrive ans Elyse give us her parking for our car. The room is perfect, the bed is confortable as well and the bathroom is lovely. All the appartement is totally clean and Zombie, their cat is totally amazing. I'll definitely go there next time ! Go for it !

Bon dia!
I have lived in Philadelphia (among many other places) for 9 years now. Professionally, I am a wardrobe designer and sell vintage clothing.
My best friend, Alison, and I live here (with our little cat, Zombie).

I adore all types of music, shows, activities, and art events. If there is travel involved, or some fun event...-I'm there (or hosting)! I live for food & drink and never turn down the excuse to throw a dinner party.

I've been to over 38 different countries, and love meeting new people. I prefer hostels and Air Bnbing, as I believe hotels are a cost that compromises future travel excursions. Our house is usually hosting a guest or two at any given time.

My motto is "live for what you love".

Things I can not live without:
*My passport
*Beer
*BBC anything
*Potatoes
