I stayed at Nicola's place with my partner and my 11 month old daughter. We had plans to do a bit of a Cornish road trip and Victoria Square was the perfect place to explore from. The house itself is on 2 floors, nice and bright, airy but cosy at the same time. It was such a treat to have a power shower and skylight in the bathroom making morning showers great! Fully equipped kitchen to cook, as we stayed in every evening with the baby and only got takeaway one night out of the 3 we stayed (fish and chips, naturally). We didn't use the living room much, as we like to relax around the dining table and our baby would come to bed with us, so no time to lounge on the sofa so I couldn't tell you if it was comfortable or not, but it sure looked tempting! We managed to explore St.Ives, Gurnard's Head, Sennen Cove, Newlyn, Mousehole, St.Michael's Mount and Prussia Cove comfortably - everything is 10-20mins drive away, maximum! The carpark space is brilliant too. Do visit the local pub The Crown, we stopped in for a pre-dinner drink and The Jubilee Pool was fun to watch the swimmers and grab some food. Easy to contact and quick response, we would highly recommend a stay at Nicola's, as a couple or with a small human.

Nicola's home is beautifully decorated and looks just like it does in the pictures! It's got a nice amount of space and is very cozy. It's close to the pubs and shops in Penzance and has a parking spot right outside. Penzance is centrally located for exploring southwest Cornwall, however if we could do it again we would stay in a smaller, more charming town.

Nicola and Mark have a lovely place in Penzance. Everything was spotless when we arrived and so welcoming and cosy. The bed was specially comfortable and we loved the window in the bathroom ceiling to look at the sky during our morning shower! Kitchen and living room had everthing you'd need for a holiday stay and beyond. The decoration was also really nice and intresting. The apartment is very close (just a couple minutes away) to the train station which was very convenient for us since we wanted to travel to St Ives. Shops and cafes are around the corner. Communication with Mark was very easy and he always replied very quickly. All in all a great stay. We'll come back!!

This is a wonderful property with great character and served the two of us very well for our stay. It is very close to the centre of Penzance but is still very peaceful indeed. It served as a great base to travel around the area and was wonderful to come home to at the end of the day. Would highly recommend.

The property is beautiful and in fantastic, central location. We really appreciated Nicola and Mark facilitating an earlier check-in for us and the personal touches left in the house (strawberries, croissants, a bottle of wine, orange juice and a pint of milk) were lovely. I also really appreciated being able to park with such ease. Penzance was wonderful to us despite the terrible weather and we would love to return. Highly recommended.

The house had everything you needed. It was very clean, modern, all new appliances. House instructions were clear. The house is very close to the Main Street in Penzance. Walking distance to bus and rail station. There is a bar at the corner, The Crown, great beers and friendly service.

This was one of the most beautiful, quiet and well equipped Air BNB's we've ever had the pleasure of staying in! We booked Nicola's place to celebrate my girlfriends birthday and just walking through the door made her day! It's beautifully presented and has literally everything you could possibly need to cook up a storm in the kitchen. Our only regret was not being there for longer so we could've cooked some of the fish we picked up for a steal in Newlyn. The house itself is quiet, cosy and the bed is super comfortable. It's within walking distance of the sea, next door to all the shops and super close to the two restaurants we ate at. I can definitely recommend booking The Shore in advance if you want some incredible food from a chef that can't be far away from getting his Michelin star. The Cornish Barn was lots of fun, games of ping pong in the garden and incredible smoked meat and cool interiors. Lastly, I'd recommend doing the walk (by walk, I mean hike!) from Mousehole to Lamorna. It was a little tough going but so worth it for the sea kayaking at Lamorna. Our stay was brilliant, (this is from Alice), if you get to meet the beautiful cat from the house 2 doors down all of your cat dreams will be answered : )

I live in London with my husband, son and daughter and we visit Cornwall as and when we can fitting in around the children at school. My parents live in Penzance and we have strong connections with the area. For us our stays there are a real escape. We love to visit local galleries and the Tate at St Ives, locally we swim from Battery Rocks (weather permitting) and the 'Pool Side Indulgence Cafe' next to the Lido can be highly recommended on a sunny evening. We are close to some spectacular coves, beaches and coast path walks. Newlyn offers fresh fish and shell fish daily and we love to cook. Up until now we have only had family and friends use the house, we consider it our home but now the children are older we plan to travel abroad more often and to rent the house seems the logical next step. We hope it attracts like minded people wanting a quite weekend away.
