I live in London with my husband, son and daughter and we visit Cornwall as and when we can fitting in around the children at school. My parents live in Penzance and we have strong connections with the area. For us our stays there are a real escape. We love to visit local galleries and the Tate at St Ives, locally we swim from Battery Rocks (weather permitting) and the 'Pool Side Indulgence Cafe' next to the Lido can be highly recommended on a sunny evening. We are close to some spectacular coves, beaches and coast path walks. Newlyn offers fresh fish and shell fish daily and we love to cook. Up until now we have only had family and friends use the house, we consider it our home but now the children are older we plan to travel abroad more often and to rent the house seems the logical next step. We hope it attracts like minded people wanting a quite weekend away.
