Built in 1900, this wonderfully preserved farmhouse is loaded with charm. Heart pine floors have been beautifully restored to their original state, original antique door knobs occupy every door and a modern bathroom and kitchen round things out.
This space is a private upstairs suite with a private front entrance and foyer. It includes a large bedroom with a queen bed and fantastic bedding, and a large closet space.
The living area includes an entertainment room with a sectional couch, a 50 inch HDTV a PS3 (Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime and HBO Go).
The kitchenette has everything you would need for your stay including an electric range and griddle, toaster oven and more.
The bathroom is a relaxation zone that includes a nice big soaking tub. It will change your life.
The space comfortably sleeps two and arrangements for an air mattress in the living room in case of additional guests.
I live on the main floor of the house and I may or may not be present during your stay. If you have questions or any apartment related issues arise I am accessible through email or text message and will respond quickly.
Less than a minute's walk is our neighborhood bodega. It's a great spot for that late night pint of Ben and Jerry's!
This suite is centrally located with less than a 10 minute walk to the historic downtown mall, downtown Belmont or the IX art park. UVA and Scott Stadium are a short five minute drive. Monticello, Ash Lawn, and numerous vineyards and orchards and all within a 20 minute drive.
Street parking is available.

As this is an upstairs unit we appreciate it when our guests are respectful to their downstairs neighbors. Simply meaning, when you come home late night/early morning try to keep the noise to a minimum.
Absolutely no smoking indoors (vape pens are fine).
Two well behaved cats live on the premises. They are not ever allowed upstairs and they are more afraid of you than you are of them.
No pets of any kind allowed.
Please keep the bathroom door closed at all times as it will help maintain optimal temperature control.
