Modern Space/Decor with Southern Charm. This is a fully renovated traditional "Shotgun" style home, with spacious entertaining space indoors and outdoors.
The house opens up to a large, spacious living, entertaining and dining space. Ten feet ceilings throughout the house creates an open and spacious setting. The living room has one convertible sofa beds/futon that fold down into a twin size bed. There is microplush mattress pad available for extra comfort while sleeping on the sofa bed.
The kitchen has new and modern appliances with a dining space for up to 10 guests. Kitchen is fully stocked with plates, silverware, glasses, French Press and Cuisinart Coffee Maker, microwave, dishwasher, Gas Stove and oven, pots and pans, and cooking tools.
The guest bedroom has a queen size bed, with a large closet. There is a queen and twin air mattresses available, if needed. The guest bathroom is located across the hallway.
In between the guest and master bedroom is a wonderful workspace for those looking to get some work done while in town. Flanked by two bookshelves, the workspace has a black granite countertop and a very comfortable Herman Miller chair.
The master bedroom located at the back of the house is quiet and peaceful. It has a queen size bed and opens to the back deck through French Doors. The master has a large HD TV with full cable and Apple TV. The bedroom gets a lot of light due to the horizontal windows above the French Doors, perfect for morning people. The large walk in closet leads into the bathroom, with a wonderful glass enclosed shower.
Outdoor Space: Guests can enjoy the gas grill, vintage bar, dining table for 6-8, and plenty of cushioned seating.

Local developers are going to renovate the beautiful, former school building, and convert them into high end apartments. They are starting some construction (August 2017); they will work during the normal 8-4 schedule and aren't suppose to work on weekends.

Please take care of my home as if it were your own. Please respect the neighbors, no "parties' in the back deck, keep noise levels to a minimum after 10 pm.
No smoking inside the house. Smoking is allowed on the front porch and back deck (ashtrays provided). No pets.
The lockbox code and security code to access the house will be emailed to guests a few days prior to arrival. There will be a house manual that outlines the details of the house and answers any questions that guests may have. The manual will also include some information on tours, and other New Orleans Tourist attractions.
