Long term rentals have a $50 credit included in price of a long term rental price. $50 is typical and part of the long term agreement.
Anything over is at the excessive price that is paid to management ,
This only happens if AC (expensive) is left on when not home or doors windows are left open while AC is left on. Being respectful is less money

We had a great time at Gail-Jean's place. A short walk to the beach and downtown Coco. The beach is beautiful and anything you need is downtown. Next to the condo is an excellent fish market and pizza restaurant. There is also a small grocery store and coffee shop right down the street from the condo if you don't want to go downtown. The kitchen has all you need for cooking. The pool area is very nice. Elizabeth the property manager is a pleasure and so helpful with recommondations. A great time in Coco.

I am taking care of the leak and shower head! I had to replace the bathroom facet as well as it would not stop dripping. I too had internet problems, where Eli had to go back to the internet store . I enjoyed my time here and would recommend it to others. I was without internet for 3 days, but the manager did her best to take care of the problem. The unit is a good basic space with a comfortable bed, and adequately equipped for one or two people.

Broker was nice. The accommodation is lovely, clean and quiet. The kitchen facilities are minimal though. Found it difficult to cook because oven is small and so are hobs. Also had to pay for the washing. Everything else was lovely. Lots of kitchen utensils and towels and bedding. Thank u

We stayed at Gail-Jean's condo for six weeks in the summer of 2016 and had an amazing time. The other residents of the condo complex were friendly and helpful. The condo itself, the pool, the location, everything was wonderful. The beach is just down the road, and, once at the beach, the walk into town is quick and beautiful. Elizabeth, the property manager, met us after we got into town, helped us get moved in, gave us a tour of Coco, was in constant communication with us, sent us helpful tips and tricks for living in Coco, and was generally very pleasant and helpful. The locals were friendly and helpful as well. The town had a nice variety of restaurants and shops, and there are many other excellent tour locations nearby. Coco makes for a great vacation destination and/or a great home base for more Costa Rica exploration. We definitely made the right decision in choosing to visit Coco and in choosing to stay at Gail-Jean's.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Gail-Jean's unit. It's in a pretty good location near the beach and a 10-15 minute walk to the Coco city center. However, my stay was during Semana Santa (holy week), and I had a few small issues because of it. Guanacaste/Coco is a very dry region of Costa Rica and they ration water accordingly. During the two peak days of the holiday, I didn't have access to water from about 9am to 5pm, and even when there was access it was modest at best. It's got more to do with the region than Gail-Jean's unit, but I'd recommend planning accordingly if you plan stay during a holiday or at the height of dry season. The property manager onsite could also have been a bit more accommodating, both with the water issue and check-out.

My experience with Gail-Jean was great. From the very beginning she was very friendly and helpful, and in consideration of the exchange with the Canadian dollar, gave us a custom rate for our stay. She answered many questions and referred me to her property manager, Elizabeth, who was absolutely great. I can't say enough about her help with details during our stay. Both of them made great recommendations that made everything easy. The condo was clean and comfortable, close to the beach, and as advertised, a 20-minute walk into the town. It was a good location to be near amenities, yet away from hustle and bustle. It had good wi-fi, TV, although we did not watch, lots of linens, and kitchen with various small appliances so it met our needs to be self-sufficient. Thank you for a very positive experience!

We stayed a month at Gail-Jean's apartment in Playa del Coco. Gail-Jean was in contact with us during months leading up to our stay, giving us tips on transportation, banking and things to do in Playa del Coco. Gail-Jean put us in touch with her property manager "Elizabeth" who was there to greet us. Elizabeth always responded to our questions or requests immediately. Elizabeth also arranged transportation from the airport for us. The apartment was much larger than we expected, clean and plenty of space for clothes and personal items. Plenty of towels and bedding were provided.The bed was very comfortable. We normally only ran the AC during the evening and fans during the day. Water was always the right temperature for showers. Gail-Jean's apartment was an incredible value for the area. The pool was beautiful, cleaned daily. We went just about everywhere in Playa del Coco via cab for $2 per trip. The beach was just a 5 minute walk away. We often walked the beach to town, which took approximately 20 minutes. We often saw howling monkeys and a variety of birds during our walks. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, pubs with entertainment to sports pubs to watch your favorite teams. We also made daily trips to our favorite coffee shops "Java" or "Congo Coffee". The people at the complex were very friendly,(from U.S., Canada, Europe and South America). Most of the residents had been coming back to the same apartment complex during the winter months for years. We also had the opportunity to sail with our friends from the complex on the Don Bosco (60' Sailboat) which was chartered every other Saturday to a remote beach where we spent the entire day snorkeling, cooking out on an open fire and basking in the sun. I definitely would recommend Gail-Jean's apartment for your stay in Playa del Coco, far enough away from town to provide a quiet atmosphere, but close enough to easily access the beach or the town.
