I am very disappointed with this review.
Like all my guests, I welcomed Nghi and her large group when they arrived, showed them the house, gave some advice about things to do and places to go, and finally requested that if there were ANY issues, that they immediately contact me to have the problem resolved (I live less than five minutes away!). Unfortunately there was NO contact - so I wasn't aware that Nghi had some issues.
I also would like to note that the house is let as a furnished holiday house, NOT a serviced apartment. Items such as bathroom handwash, toilet paper and dishwashing liquid are supplied on arrival, but guests are expected to cater for themselves for the remainder of their stay.
In relation to cleanliness, all sheets, doona covers, pillow slips and towels are freshly laundered for every incoming guest/group. The house is completely cleaned EVERY time there is a changeover (and refreshed immediately before an occupancy if there happens to be a gap between guests!). .
I admit the lounge carpet did have a couple of small marks - the results of a very busy season - but the carpet was certainly clean, with all spots having been treated with spot remover before vacuuming.
As for the bathroom, as always it was spotless when Nghi's party arrived, but it certainly was not when they left - long hair tangled in the shower drain and bath plughole, and more long hair left on the floor, vanity and in the bedrooms.
Nghi did agree to pay an additional nightly fee as her party was well in excess of the normal maximum of eight, as you can see in her review (actually I think there were thirteen in all!!). However, she did not include the additional fee in her payment to airbnb, and when asked about it after the group had left, she now has the temerity to refuse to pay the outstanding cost!
I will certainly not accept another booking from this group, and do not recommend this guest to other hosts.
