Luxurious suite for two. Lovingly converted by us, from an old stone cattle shed. Wonderfully tranquil, village location, yet within easy reach of Lyme Regis, Bridport and River Cottage HQ.
Beautiful walks from the door including the popular Rousdon Kitchen 15 minutes walk away.
At the end of the day's excursions, there's a beautiful courtyard garden to return to and enjoy early evening pre dinner drinks.

El alojamiento
The Linhay is a bijoux, self contained annex, attached to our green oak self build.

Equipped with a cosy living/dining area, galley kitchen and kingsize cabin bed, the apartment has everything you need for a relaxed, comfortable stay.

A cozy log burner welcomes guests in the winter months and the courtyard provides an attractive setting for al fresco dining on summer days.

On arrival you'll find the fridge stocked with milk, butter and our chickens' eggs (when laying). Tea, coffee are also provided as well as local biscuits.

We welcome one, well behaved dog for an additional charge of £20 per stay. (No dogs on furniture) Please let us know at the time of booking.

During your stay, you can treat your loved one to a unique experience of the area from the air! As a highly experienced Autogyro instructor, examiner and test pilot, Nick can introduce you to the operational basics, whilst viewing our magnificent, Jurassic and Triassic coastline from above!

In the evening, there are many restaurants within a ten minute drive, or you can relax, cook and dine at the annex. There's a television, local interest books, maps and guides to explore.

In the bathroom you'll find luxury, hotel quality towels, a walk in wet room and complimentary toiletries.

And so to bed... With just two steps up to the kingsize cabin bed, you can retire to the luxurious ViSpring mattress, Siberian goose down pillows and organic cotton linen. The most likely thing to wake you, will be the birds.

We are Sara and Nick. 14 years ago we upped sticks to Devon, with our two children and two black Labs. We moved to a plot of land with two derelict barns and 3/4 acre of weeds and set about building ourselves a home and some jobs! 14 years on we have a beautiful green oak house (one barn still to convert!) I work locally as a gardener and for the last decade, Nick has been operating as an Autogyro instructor with The Gyrocopter Experience. We converted the cattle shed using a green oak frame designed by Roderick James Architects and Carpenter Oak. Everything else we’ve done ourselves. Stage 2 was a new build green oak framed building to join the two barns. Just the last barn to convert now and we’ve learnt a lot along the way! We love Devon life and are still amazed by the tranquility of our rural area and the friendliness of the people. We hope you’ll see the love and work we’ve put into our home and enjoy the house and surroundings as much as we do.

Durante tu estancia

Whilst we're right next door, we respect your privacy, so we'll greet you, but then be available for information, advice and tips, as much or as little as you require. We're new to this, so please let us know if there's anything we've overlooked and we'll do our best!

You may occasionally hear muffled sounds from the main house as there is a well insulated adjoining door.

Although breakfast is not included in the price, presuming we're around during your stay, we can provide either, continental, or cooked breakfast to the annex on request.

As a luxury extra, for that special occasion, we can also provide a champagne, cream tea picnic hamper, again on request and with advance notice.
