Located just outside of Bridgman, this Lake Township home is clean, quaint and accessible to so many great things that are offered in Southwest Michigan—-15 wineries within a ten mile radius, many breweries including Transient, Tapistry and Haymarket in Bridgman alone, great restaurants, Weko Beach and Warren Dunes State Park! The home offers a perfect place to wind down after a day on the beach or at the wineries—with countless options for amazing food for any meal—or you can cook at home

El alojamiento
Officially, this 1950s vintage ranch house is a three bedroom and one bathroom house—-however, only two bedrooms have full size beds in them, and the third bedroom has a full size mattress on the floor. There is also an air mattress and a foldable single mattress available for use at the house! The house may look quite different by the time you arrive as I have been busy hanging artwork, buying other furniture, and continuing to decorate it and organizing it to get it set up and ready for guests! I am writing these updates as of August 2020—to let you know that I’ve had a summer of great guests who have loved both the house and the location——in the countryside on the edge of Bridgman! So close to wineries, breweries and, of course, Lake Michigan and Weko Beach!! I’ll wait until 2021 to post new pics as I’ll probably do some more significant changes over the winter when it’s less busy—-though the house is available for rent any day, week or month of the year! As a guest in 2020, you can help me decide what more you’d like to see in the house! One new addition this summer is an HERB GARDEN on the back patio! Feel free to use anything (of the edibles!) from the herb garden—-there are jalapeno peppers, sage, rosemary, thyme and basil! Pick it and use it! I’ve also asked guests to water the garden during their stay—-as it needs water pretty much every day if it doesn’t rain since it receives mostly full sunlight most days.

Dónde vas a estar

Bridgman, Michigan, Estados Unidos

My house is about one mile to Lake Street and all that downtown Bridgman has to offer like Transient Artisan Ales, Tapistry Brewery, Lake Street Eats, Emma Hearth and Market, Early Bird Eatery, Eric’s Bridgman Diner, the Sandpiper, Haymarket Tap Room, The Cubby Bear-and a whole lot more! Of course, go to Lake Street, turn left and you’ll be headed right into Lake Michigan at Weko Beach. About three miles south on Red Arrow Highway is the entrance to Warren Dunes State Park and then drive a few more miles to the town of Sawyer—where you’ll find Greenbush Brewery, Peasant’s Pantry, and the best restaurant in the area, Susan’s! Head north on Red Arrow Highway, and you’ll get to Stevensville where you’ll find Peat’s Cider Social and Watermark Brewery. A list of restaurants, wineries and breweries is on the kitchen table—which identifies restaurants from New Buffalo (Exit 1) and north to Stevensville (Exits 22/23) and also spots in Three Oaks. If you want to drive further, you can check out Buchanan, South Bend, Michigan City, St. Joseph, Benton Harbor or South Haven—-each is within about 15-35 miles. Get real adventurous and take a drive to Saugatuck/Douglas, Fennville, Holland, Kalamazoo or even Grand Rapids—-each is about 50-90 miles from Bridgman.
