Built in 1850 this old flour mill has been beautifully restored and comprises two homes on the Kowie River overlooking the river, sea and river mouth. With your own jetty you can moor your boat or just take a paddle upriver in the canoe.
The main house has a huge double volume open plan living/dining area downstairs with old fashioned stained glass doors opening up onto a patio and river. A sea-facing patio is on the mezzanine level where you can watch the boats enter the river mouth. The house sleeps 5 and the old miller's cottage that overlooks the river also sleeps 5. The two are rented together as one space. It is a wonderful home with lots of character and history in the 600mm thick walls.
