Our 2-bedroom apartment is an apartment with high-quality furnishings. It is ideally suited for city visitors who would like to live near the lake and in the popular Seefeld district.

Our 2-bedroom apartment (70 m²) was recently renovated and is ideally suited for families and newly arrived Zurich enthusiasts who enjoy being close to the lake. The apartment features a lovely parquet floor, an airy living/dining room with media station, and a quiet balcony facing the inner courtyard. Both of the large bedrooms – one of which features a French balcony – have a large wardrobe, queen-sized bed (200x160 cm), two nightstands, and a contemporary workstation. The large, fully equipped eat-in kitchen with balcony allows you to invite friends over for a cozy dinner and offers room for up to 6 people. The entryway has a wardrobe with lots of storage space. The bathroom with bath tub completes this bright family apartment.

WLAN Internet access is also included in the apartment price. Additional room service is offered on site. Also included are all incidental costs, weekly cleaning of your apartment, changing of the bed linen, and use of the laundry room.

The Guest must personally take possession of and deliver the apartment upon check-in and check-out. The apartment will be inspected beforehand. The Guest will be given an inventory list with the apartment’s furnishings, which will either be checked and signed on site by both parties or be signed by the Guest and returned at the latest after one work week. Thereafter, the apartment will automatically be considered as having been accepted by the Guest as being in good condition and/or in the condition noted on the inventory list.

The Guest is fully liable for the loss of any apartment keys, hand-held transmitters, laundry room keys, etc. The Guest is liable for all replacement costs as well as a processing fee of CHF 100.00.

The guest has the right to use the designated ancillary rooms (e.g. common laundry room or beverage cellar). The Guest must be considerate of the needs of other guests when using the common rooms. All rooms are non-smoking rooms.

The Guest must deliver the apartment in good and proper condition. The delivery date and any damage must be reported immediately (long-term stays: at the latest one week before check-out).
The costs for the final cleaning are included in the room rate. Should the condition of the apartment require a longer cleaning duration, the additional time will be correspondingly charged and deducted from the security deposit.

The Guest is free to rent certain additional furniture and fittings (crib, hide-a-bed); depending on the item, an additional monthly rate will be charged for this.

The Guest is obligated to treat the apartment entrusted to him/her, the common areas as well as the furniture and the equipment with the greatest possible care. The instructions for the equipment (e.g. washing machine) must be followed.

The property is non-smoking. Smoking is permitted on balconies/terraces. In the event of misuse of non-smoking areas or violation of the non-smoking rule, we will fine the Guest CHF 300.00. Costs for fire department services (due to cigarette smoke) as well as any painting work needed will be fully charged to the smoker who caused the damage.

Pets are not allowed unless specific written permission has been provided.

Depending on the property, the Guest’s personal post will be delivered directly to the respective personal mailbox or will be made available for pick-up at the reception desk in a private mailbox.

The landlord assumes no liability for damage caused by Internet use (e.g. spam, viruses, connection outages, etc.). During office hours, please report any Internet issues. The landlord will do everything possible to maintain the Internet connection in proper working order and eliminate any problems. Internet connection problems (impairments, interruptions) are not excluded. We assumes no liability for interruptions (e.g. by external providers); the Guest is not entitled to a refund. The Guest is obligated to protect his/her own equipment from malware to prevent spam or viruses from being sent over the network. The landlord is entitled to exclude a Guest from the Network. The Guest should take note that the landlord is obligated to partially record Internet usage.

No structural modifications may be implemented in the apartment. The landlord can undertake small repairs and light maintenance work during the booking duration.

Cleaning service/housekeeping personnel are permitted to enter the apartment without the Guest being present. The landlord is entitled to show the furnished apartment to potential future renters. Showings will be announced in advance and will take place Mondays through Fridays during office hours.

The Guest is liable for any vandalism to the apartment perpetrated by the Guest or by a third person during the booking duration. The Guest is fully liable for damage due to lack of care, smoking and improper use.

•Damage caused by the Guest
•Damage caused to the Guest through the Guest’s use of the apartment (e.g. furniture, kitchen equipment, etc.)
•Disruptions due to an act of nature, strikes, etc.

The landlord is not liable for theft, damage or loss of any and all furniture and personal objects brought in by the Guest.

The Guest and his/her personal items are not insured for risks of accommodation (e.g. accident, illness, theft, water and fire). Personal liability insurance is the Guest’s personal choice and is not obligatory.

The Guest is not permitted to sublet the apartment to third parties or to make the apartment available for use to third parties. Using the apartment for commercial activities is not permitted. In the event of a violation of the right to hospitality as well as of the above-mentioned obligations, the landlord is entitled to evict the Guest immediately with the aid of the police.

For booking durations starting at 8 weeks the Guest is obligated, within 14 days of checking in, to register with the pertinent authorities (regional offices, post office, etc.) of the City of Zurich and to deregister upon checking out of the accommodation.

The landlord is permitted to collect, process and use personal data to the extent that this promotes seamless business operations. The data will only be saved and forwarded to third parties to the extent that this is required. The Guest agrees to this.

We had an excellent three-week stay at the City Stay apartments in Seefeld. The building is less than a block to the tram and supermarkets, and only a few blocks from the beautiful lakeside promenade and parks. The apartment itself was spacious, clean and modern and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The weekly cleaning was a huge plus as well. A great place to stay in Zurich!

The listing was as described and it was a nice place. The place was very clean. The value in comparison to hotels was very good. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and other Airbnb users.

The CityStay representatives that greeted us and took care of check-out were very nice and helpful. The apartment was clean and appliances functional. It is located in a very nice area. However, it still unfortunately turned out to be a less than ideal fit for our family. We chose Airbnb over a hotel room to have access to a kitchen and laundry facilities, since we are traveling with our toddler. One of the washers (out of two, located in the basement) was out of order, and the other one was constantly busy. I ended up having to do our laundry in the bathtub. Also, there was no soap to wash our hands when we arrived after a long journey (no shampoo, no detergent etc). The elevator is way too small to fit even a tiny travel stroller, so I ended up carrying my son and the stroller up the stairs (the apartment is on the fifth floor). They only take out the trash once a week, which is also not ideal for a family. You can buy special trash bags to to use in the Zurich city bins, but for some reason CityStay don't provide those. As long as you are aware of the above, and don't mind, I think this apartment could potentially be a great fit for a couple, a family with older children, or a group of friends.

We knew we were going to arrive after hours so we pre-arranged how to get into the apartment. The keys were exactly where they were supposed to be and the instructions on how to access the apartment were excellent. The apartment in mostly great. The only downside is the shower which is very small and no matter which way you turn you're always sticking to the shower curtain. Once you have your shower temperature set, the water temperature fluctuates from very hot to cold, so you have to step into and out of the water periodically. Otherwise this place is great.

The apartment building isn't the newest, so things like this can happen unfortunately. But we will be renovating the entire building soon, meaning there will be a more spacious shower and the water temperature will be steady. CityStay was very helpful in person and by phone and email getting us in an out of this apartment during off hours for them. Thanks for that! The apartment was clean and comfortable and quiet and the location is ideal for a family or couple -- 100 meters to groceries, restaurants, other shops, and convenient tram lines, and 2 or 3 short blocks to a lovely part of the lake. The bathroom is a little cramped, but clean and perfectly functional. The photos in the listing do not appear to be of the actual apartment we were in, but honestly representative. Do keep in mind that this is not someone's apartment or spare room you're renting, but really a spare "furnished apartment," with solid furniture and basic cooking utensils, but virtually no other supplies for cooking or other basics: you'll need to bootstrap things like butter, oil, vinegar, condiments, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, shampoo, laundry soap, etc., etc. I hope the barely opened things like this we purchased are left for the next guests. The clothes-washing is in the basement and requires a special card -- arrange for that ahead of time if you need it. And if you've never used a European washer/dryer like this before, ask for a tutorial. The top-floor was really hot at night, but CityStay can hardly be faulted for a European heat wave. Do keep this in mind if you're planning to stay during a likely hot spell. All in all, a great experience and a wonderful way to visit Zurich.

A very clean and high spec apartment well located in the city but in a quiet neighbourhood. Supermarkets and buses and trams located very close by. Would recommend.
