A luxurious hideaway for a relaxing forest retreat. King bed in larger bedroom. Double bed in smaller room. Fully equipped kitchen with half-sized refrigerator with tiny freezer compartment. Extra frig in downstairs. Porch with screened area in summer. Some road noise, next door neighbor has messy yard. No AC., (but house typically stays quite cool )no smoking, no pets. Good Internet. Not possible to see before booking. Truly magical place. Buggy in summer sometimes. not a great BBQ set up.
Treehouse has everything you need to settle in and relax. A great small kitchen, a bath tub, a chimineria for fires on patio. A screened seating area in summer. You can fill up a tub with a hose on the back porch if you want a cold plunge on really hot days.
If you like to scramble up Cobb Mt. it is right behind the house. Mixed forest, rocky outcroppings, streams, mushrooms. Spectacular views, beware of poison oak. Many small animal tracks and some overgrown forestry roads. Very Steep!
Pine Grove area of Cobb offers walks in the woods and is walking distance to Mountain Cafe and Hardester's Grocery on a sidewalk. Kelsey creek is nearby across the street. Pine Grove Resort offers swimming in summer for a small day use fee, wine country is 35 minutes away. There are many lesser known wineries in Lake County.
Mt Knocti is a terrific hike up the road in Kelseyville.

Garbage can is brown. recycling can is blue. They are labelled with the house number and are often down the hill near the road where they get picked up Tuesday mornings.
Smaller than usual refrigerator, fyi. Extra refrigerator in basement. Freezer is tiny.
If you wish to barbecue the gas unit on the patio doubles as a conventional bbq (gas is disabled) the briquettes and lighter etc are in the basement for your use.
Be sure to close and lock all doors and windows at departure.
Leave the heating stove in the low setting whenever you leave the cabin. Adjusting the dial in small increments will decrease the possibility of extinguishing the pilot, that can be very hard to relight. The heating stove is left at this low setting when you check out as well.
Please find the brown garbage can and blue recycling can down the hill to the left of the house near Bottle Rock Road at wide space where you turn in to get to the house. Collection happens down by the street on Tuesday morning. Our cans have 12641 on the lid.
Please no garbage in blue or green bins.
