Come stay at my stylish, cozy apartment on the west side- a retreat in the middle of an urban and diverse neighborhood. Relax in the tub, on the couch or soaking in the sun from the bay window before heading out to explore the exciting neighborhood with all the coolest bars and restaurants.
Please read entire detailed description before booking!
This is my only residence; I rent it out when I travel so I live here. There is an air-conditioning unit in the bedroom.
It is 3.5 miles from Brown and RISD Universities, so it is not an easy walk to those campuses. It is not a college neighborhood, but rather people that live and work in Providence; it is a diverse place!
This is a one bedroom condo in a large victorian house in Providence's Armory district. It's a totally renovated and decorated place with high ceilings, bay windows, claw foot tub, and hard wood floors. There's a great kitchen for cooking or the option of different kinds of restaurants within walking distance. Downtown is an easy 25 minute walk (one mile) with many more restaurants, shops, train station, RISD museum, the mall etc.
The bus stop is a one minute walk out the door and takes you right downtown. Although, if you have bikes, bring them because it's a bike-able place.
There are bars and restaurants and coffee shops as well as a local organic grocer all within ten minutes walk. On Thursdays, the farmer's market takes place in Armory park (summer), which also boasts some pretty good food trucks.
Disponible para huéspedes
You have access to only my apartment, through the back.
Atención a los huéspedes
I have very little interaction with my guests but will have as much or as little as you want.
Otros aspectos destacables
There is a tv that you can hook up to your apple tv if you have one, but mostly count on not having tv. I do have a dog who will not be here when you are, but if you have dog allergies, probably best not to book.
This is not a fancy neighborhood, but it is one where you'll find non-chain restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Do not book if you do not like the noise and feel of heterogenous city life.
Thanks for booking!
No smoking/no events or parties.
Dogs with permission(35 $ per/dog fee which you can pay on arrival).
Please, no animals on the furniture .
This is my actual home so please be aware of that.
Being a teacher allows me time to travel which means my apartment is often available for someone to stay. I do have a dog, but clearly he would not be here during your stay. I have lived in Providence for ten years so have many recommendations for you; feel free to contact me anytime.
